OMG@ that interview tale. I can see his point re the first comment tho ( no offence to working mums who do work hard)as I have all my working life been in several jobs where we have to cover for working parents who were always taking time off if their kids had a cold etc. In one of my jobs there were 3 women there - the section head who was often not at her desk and came and went as she pleased,a part timer who didnt work much when she was in, and a working mum who only worked between 11 and 3 and as a HR department most of the work was in the early and late sections to the extent to which I was virtually doing her job for her as well as mine for no extra pay.She was often off ill herself or had one of her kids with a cold or stomachache etc so had a lot of time off during my spell there. This resulted in my having to do every task of a massive public sector recruitment trawl which involved record keeping, phone call taking (often 3 phones at once), printing and sending out approx 10,000 application forms, processing them etc.. completely unaided while having to carry out my own responsibilities at the same time.

But I would look into investigating that company as I am convinced what he said was illegal. I once had someone who told me I was going to take time off to have kids so I said I was a lesbian just to shut him up..
