Loch Morleich near Aviemore, or way up to Cairngorm Mountains.
Not huge, but nice and sandy and a surprising find (even though clearly man made for watersports centre)0 -
Where would you say the most gorgeous place in Scotland is?
The reason i ask this is for 2 reasons.
A) Some people are wondering where they can go on a Scottish holiday, and thought this could be a good thread to sort of promote the smaller places in Scotland to the beauty and tranquil and such....i am in to photography loads, and have "ran out" of things here, (granted, took over 4k images but still)
so this could be a good photography holiday thread evenNever do things tomorow when you can do them today.0 -
I'll just merge this with the current thread with photographs of Scottish beaches0

Lots of gorgeous places - Plockton is one of my favourites:

...but there are so many - the Storr on Skye, the Cuillins, Applecross, Glen Nevis.

Monreith beach, or Maxwell's Beach...after the author Gavin Maxwell, he of 'Ring of Bright Water' who took the otter here first, and where my seaside holidays have always seem to be spent...0
