Hmmm - sounds interesting! I'm sure I needed something from Ikea - i've got the weekend to remember what it was!

Whens Sami back from her hols?

And hugs for Jacks poorly belly button - it sounds horrid! I wasn't so bad with Violets, but when I was a young, silly, first time mum and Joes belly button fell off, I phoned Mum to come round and deal with it! :o And that was a healthy stump - i still don't think I could deal with a smelly one!

I only need fleece blankets :o

stump was fine when it dropped off but there was a small growth in his belly button so it was supposed to just be treated & then drop off. I'll upload a pic in a min

I'm not sure I want you too!

ETA:  Should do my diet some good! Aw - poor little man!

Susan Agreed with the social worker stigma! I was terrified when DS's school suggested he should have a social worker - I thought it meant I was doing something wrong! :o
But our area seems particularly bad, we waited 4 years to be assigned a social worker, and hes not a 'proper qualified' one yet! And tbh - seems pretty useless!
Lots of children in DS's school get respite - weekly or monthly. But when I asked about it I was told there was an 8 year waiting list , then was called back to be told the waiting list was so long it was closed for the time being!
But, I think i'm my own worst enemy. Mum says I cope too well with everything, and if I want serious help, I need to phone social services on a Friday night and tell them i'm dumping DS on their doorstep if I don't get help. But i'm not the type to do that!

clover, would HomeStart by any good for you? I'm not entirely sure what they do but the info is here - http://www.home-start.org.uk/needsupport/need_support. Well done you for doing it all so far! :)

Is your Dad still in hospital? Are there any free hospital transport or local bus service in your area? Not normal buses, but we have mini-buses here that you can phone up a bit like a taxi but they charge bus prices. I realise you probably haven't time to Google it but if you give me an idea of your area I'll look for you if you like (I'm stuck to the sofa feeding Rhys most of the time right now anyway :)).
