This dress just arrived in the post. When I opened it, Alice said, "Wow, a pretty dress!" with great amazement as if she'd never seen one before.

awww - that's the type of thing Charlotte would say :D

Still unwell here. I've got infected sinuses, so I've been given some antibiotics this morning. Hope it clears it up soon.
Here I go again on my own....

OH always used to fall asleep on the sofa with seth, i used to get so angry! he would fall asleep on his back with seths head on his shoulder tucker under his arm if that makes sense, so there was no way he could roll onto him or seth could roll off but i still couldnt relax when he did it. i

Yeah, that's how OH is now. He can't escape from under OH's arm to roll off and can't even really move position, but everytime he wriggles and moves his head I go over to check his nose is still uncovered  I won't go out or fall asleep too when they're like that which probably accounts for why I don't get a nap at all!

susan how was the chorizo hot pot?
It was nice. I doubled everything except for the chorizo sausage, threw in some random extras because I only had one leek and used lamb stock because that was what I'd just made. Alice is obviously training to have manly food tastes though; she picked out all the chorizo sausage and then said, "More 'rizo sausage."

What am I supposed to wear for halloween? We have a night out then, with people from OH's work, dressing up is "optional" but I know fine most people will, and of course the 40something office mutton dressed as lamb receptionists are squishing themselves into rubber catsuit outfits etc.

Since when did Halloween become a sl*tfest for desperate woman! They are desperate btw, 1 of them ran off with the 17yr old apprentice who started, she had booked hols, she told him it wouldnt matter that he didnt, well of course it did, he ended up getting the boot for that....daft cow.

Yay, I've just ordered a birthday present for February next year! :D It's for my last remaining colleague who is the hardest person ever to buy for and I just found the perfect thing on play.com :) Just need to make a note where I've hidden it when it arrives otherwise I'll never find it again!

    ETA: Hurrah for teeth! :D
