I want to dress up as a Zombie. Old clothes ripped and stained with food dye at realistic places and loads of minging make up. It's great if you happen to be especially minging that day, can go out with greasy hair as it's part of the costume :D BO too :D

I sorted out the pile of 3-6month clothes and hid them away under the bed, my bedroom looks a bit better, well that one corner does atleast.

Off to make mac'n'cheese for dinner. Amber is sleeping in her crib up here, she will no doubt wake as soon as I get downstairs.

Oh and little swine that she is, I stripped the crib (I usually just change the 'sick' sheet at her head) haven't changed the bottom sheet in about a month as it never gets dirty, and what did she do? Had a HUGE vomit that somehow got everywhere. Humph, shoulda just left it

Yay, I've just ordered a birthday present for February next year! :D It's for my last remaining colleague who is the hardest person ever to buy for and I just found the perfect thing on play.com :) Just need to make a note where I've hidden it when it arrives otherwise I'll never find it again!

    ETA: Hurrah for teeth! :D

If you've got card details stored on Play.com (think it used to store it automatically), delete them if you can as there is a security problem with that website and my card was used for an unauthorised transaction (hadnt used it anywhere else!).

Theres a whole thread on it here:

elle - that's very organised of you! I'm currently trying to order christmas presents.

Talking of which - you'd asked about teh cadbury's biscuits/photo mug offer. Are they individual codes or generic - did you find out?

glam, when LO was a few weeks old she got quite dry skin. The GP explained that there is a very very fine line between dry skin and baby excema (the typte they grow out of). We hadn't been using bubble bath, but dropped shampoo from every night to 2-3 times a week and have been using oilatum junior in her bath. The dry skin has cleared up brilliantly (GP says it was therefore just dry skin and not excema). The oilatum is a bit pricey, but they'll give it to you on a prescription if you ask or you can get it through the NHS minor ailments scheme - ask at your local boots for information. We can't explain how good it's been for her though and now we don't have to use it every bathtime either :D

Perhaps you can try it when he's older/tummybutton has cleared.

BTW, I wasn't suggesting that anyone is a minger with the Zombie thing! I am just obessed with Zombies. I made DH check if you could open the fuel tank on my car if the engine was running just incase zombies attacked and people tried to steal the diesel out my car as we were making our getaway. I also make sure there is tinned tomatoes and pasta and bottled water in the house just incase... and never throw out unused medicine as you never know when you might need some left over penacillin when society has been destroyed....

uhm... *goes and sits in the corner*
