when you find out you got the job (not if, when, cos your tender was bound to be fabulous ;)) when do you have to go back? and if for some reason they are blind and give it to someone else will it be easy to find a new job or is what you do quite specialised?
i am still very very sorry :o

what was i anyway? nobody said :( i think i am the one that puts a big hoof in it in spectacular style :o

  • i am 32 years old and in feb this year i finally found the strenth to say to DH stop cheating or get out (about 6th time i knew of) he said no so i said bye. To begin with he was a pig, couldnt see us but had plenty of time for his new 20 year old "friend" who happened to be a girl?????? in all this time I have had about £100 tops from him and am now in the process of going bankrupt.
Since DS2 was born I have been asking for help from doctors as he was a bit different but no one would ever listen they all said it coz i had 3 little ones 3 and under it was just hard work. Last year DS1 who is now 14 was in big trouble at school as he was always being bullied and for first time ever retalliated and when on the floor being kicked pulled boys leg so boy fell on floor and said boy broke his arm. When up the school they asked me why i had never had him tested for ADHD at which point i was surprised as DS2 behaviour had always overshadowed DS1's. long story short took both boys to DS1 assesment and turns out DS1 severe ADHD and dyspraxic and DS2 also severe adhd and very very severe ODD. Also a query now on DD3 but too young to diagnose as unsure if ADHD or learned behaviour. DS1 is good as gold and since DH gone has blossomed and I now realise DH been big negative impact for years but always thought best for kids to have their dad there. DS2 as much as i love him is a total nightmare.....seems to take pleasure inmaking us all unhappy. Cant get from school to car b4 making one of his sisters cry. Shouts constantly in their faces saying really horrible things. Wont listen to anything anyone says. Even his old teacher described him in his school report as "stands out from other children in the class like tigger on speed :eek::eek:

then this week i had finally got a place on a adhd parenting course to try and meet ppl in similar situ and to try and get ideas on how to difuse situations. it can take up to 3 hours to get him in car for example.....so on letter it says 10 til 12 and play leaders there to watch little ones soi phoned and booked place for DD4. arrived at quarter to 10 and it had already started and they told me off for disturbing group and could i be more respectful nxt time like i was 10 years old. then gave me forms to fill out. then says in front of everyone oh can u leave there is no place here for you your not on my list and if u cant get anyone to look after LO we can get a playleader and u can do course nxt yr sometime. held door open soi could leave. felt about half inch tall. gutted as i had hoped this could really help DS2.

Baby is ill and crying all time wants picking but not picking up, wants a drink but wants nothing etc... then on top of this my dad moved 2 years ago to somewhere really remote and has just had a 2 week stay in hospital following a heart attack so have been driving 4 hours a evening to collect disabled mum and sister from hosp to take them home as no buses.

Tired, have a cold, feel everything is getting too much and want a break from everything. NEVER EVER have even 10 minutes to myself. On the go from 6 every morning til 2 ish when boys finally decide to go to sleep and then they sleepwalk etc...since feb DH has had kids twice once for a day (march) and feb for 2 hours. everytime i try to say need a breakk he says but i work i dont have time to do anything and he wont be my convienient babysitter so i can go clubbing etc....excuse me??? he left me and i dont want to go out anyway as 1) too knackered just want some peace and catch up on housework/washing and 2) even if i did i couldnt afford it.

if anyone has managed to read all this then thank you. i am sorry i sound like such a moaner but i just needed to get it off my chest. x

Hmmm... working from home today, Elijah definitely not well, perhaps because of the MMR jab he had on Monday. He has diarrhea and a cough yesterday and today, and is getting very drooly, and is generally fragile.

So I am in the study working and I can hear OH walking around with him to keep him entertained, and he starts grinching so she sings to him - the song she chose was "Do your balls hang low"... Hmm.
  • omg! i am sorry that is such a long post!

Oh my GOD Clover, ... I don't really know what to say except how sorry I am and to sympathise. You're not a moaner, you're incredible for having coped so far!!!

You really should be entitled to a lot more help than it seems you're getting. I'm not sure who would be best placed to try - maybe Citizens Advice Bureau? - but you need support (as do your relatives it sounds) and if you don't get it no-one could blame you for cracking.

Good luck, please don't take no for an answer from people who might be able to help, and keep ranting on here if it will help at all! I'm sorry I haven't got anything more constructive to say.

Oh dear - I really didn't mean for this to turn into the really sorry MFD roadshow :o

You are the one who is getting married :j:j we are all choosing our hats you know ;):D

Should find something out by mid-late november. What I do is really specialised but I have a reasonably high profile in the industry so with a bit of luck I shouldn't find it too difficult finding alternative work. The day after I am due to find out I am making a presentation to 100 senior managers of construction companies so I could always use that to advertise my availability ;)
I would potentially have a job until March anyway.
Just need to wait and see.

Got to run - grumpy baby knows he has been in his highchair too long!!

for being so ace and supportive this year. I've just ordered her a "Shoes are good" bag from the link Maz gave us as she's shoe mad and always carts half the house into work with her in the mornings :)

    Glad the link helped
