Apart from one time when a swan attacked her  My FIL had to take the brunt of it by standing infront of her, she was only about 4 at the time and for the next few trips she fed them out the window of the car cuz she was too scared to get out
All is well in my house. We are starting to turn into elle with appointments coming out of our ears  but other than that all is good. Am packing Jas off to my mums house next Friday at 4pm and she is not coming home till about 6 or 7 on Sunday night as we are doing her bedroom up as a birthday surprise, and she thinks it is just a holiday at nannys house
Also have a party to plan, think its soft play all the way, couldnt be bothered with 10 7 year olds trashing my house  Jasmine can do enough damage on her own:rotfl:
Poor Jasmine (and FIL! :rotfl:).
It took absolutely ages for Poppy to actually see a duck as by the time they had walked there she would be fast asleep! My Dad had to stand on his own and feed them every time :rotfl:. Now its Jamie's turn to miss out.
Oh, I can just imagine her face when she comes home! What a fantastic present.

My birthday used to be fantastic as I always got money and I could spend it on loads of new stuff, but that was in the good old days when the January sales were actually in January !!!The two best things I have done with my life

elle, I got my mum and MIL one of those bags last year for christmas, mums said Nannys are great and MILs said Grans are great !! Thats how Jasmine tells the difference in them, and if you are talking about Granda she always asks if its nannys granda or grannys granda !!!The two best things I have done with my life

We nearly always have to just buy her something for summer anyway !! Although now she will get a present on Dylans birthday and vice versa. Thats what happened with me and my sister too
Katies is 27th nov and i agree with you MM. so ackward!! Last year I bought her stuff that i knew would be too old for her, so kept them behind and brought them out thoughout the year as she got old enough for them IYSWIM? but i know were not gonna be able to do that forever....!!!!
I like your idea about the present on each others birthday too....thats nice. think i may take that one up!Carla-Farla!!

Mine is an odd time (Feb 22nd) cos presents could be bought in the end of the sales or I've also has Easter eggs on my birthday (not quite sure what that present giver was thinking!). Plus it's always fallen in half term week except for one year when it was the first Monday back
I like it now cos OH's is Nov 17th so we try to go away for that week and my birthday week and usually manage to get a good price cos they're both out of season! We're thinking of a sunshine break somewhere (Bulgaria, maybe) around Rhys' birthday as a celebration while it's still not too hot and before I go back to work..
