While she's little so you don't confused her? You had a half birthday too, didn't you?
The girls at work suggested we have two birthdays for Rhys, 17th May and 19th July, until they realised it'd all be too expensive!0 -
My mate in schools birthday was boxing day, and she had a 2nd birthday like the queen in July when she got all her presents instead !!!The two best things I have done with my life

My wee minx celebrates on the same 2 days as paddington bear
Lookie
When he was found, Paddington wasn’t too sure how old he was so the Browns decided to start again at one. They also decided that he should have two birthdays a year (just like the Queen!) and so he celebrates these on 25th June and 25th December.
We call her june birthday her half birthday and that is when she got all her pressies and she will only get christmas pressies at xmas (well maybe one or 2 bday pressies might magically appear)Everyone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070 -

How are yours? Hope all is well in Camp MM!

Jasmine loves feeding the ducks !! Apart from one time when a swan attacked her  My FIL had to take the brunt of it by standing infront of her, she was only about 4 at the time and for the next few trips she fed them out the window of the car cuz she was too scared to get out
All is well in my house. We are starting to turn into elle with appointments coming out of our ears  but other than that all is good. Am packing Jas off to my mums house next Friday at 4pm and she is not coming home till about 6 or 7 on Sunday night as we are doing her bedroom up as a birthday surprise, and she thinks it is just a holiday at nannys house
Also have a party to plan, think its soft play all the way, couldnt be bothered with 10 7 year olds trashing my house  Jasmine can do enough damage on her own:rotfl:The two best things I have done with my life

And Jamie's is 3 days after...!
Family have already decided to buy him a small gift but mainly vouchers for his birthday so I can buy him things that he needs throughout the year.

Jas is close enough for my liking, November is a hard month though as it is too cold for outdoor parties and too close to Christmas to expect summery presents for the garden etc.. which she loves more than anything. We nearly always have to just buy her something for summer anyway !! Although now she will get a present on Dylans birthday and vice versa. Thats what happened with me and my sister tooThe two best things I have done with my life

Thankyou for mentioning 26th Dec birthdays, MM. My colleague/friend/boss' birthday is 26th Dec and I'm trying to get them all little gifts ("from Rhys"
) for their birthdays as a little thankyou for being so ace and supportive this year. I've just ordered her a "Shoes are good" bag from the link Maz gave us as she's shoe mad and always carts half the house into work with her in the mornings

Tia is your flat-head guru..
The holding it to one side could just be because that's how he was curled up inside? Was he full term or prem? Rhys had gel wedges to keep his head in certain positions for a length of time to make sure he didn't favour one side.money_maker wrote: »carla, its Dylan that has a tilt to one side, we are in physio for that among many other issuesApparently though it fixes itself before they are a year, and if it hasnt then they can strengthen the muscles by doing a wee mini op, but unless the HV is overly concerned, then it shouldnt be a major problem
Thanks girls!!! I didnt want to bring it up to friend as she hasnt mentioned it....i didnt wanna be seen as making a big deal outta nothing, and possibly worrying her for no reason, so thought it best to keep my mouth shut, and ask you ladies!!
MDW - i admire you for being able to do it for longer than a week (which is all i could withstand!)
night scruffy!!
about dummies: Katie LOVES her dummy. but she is only allowed it at naptime and bedtime. she knows it gets taken away as soon as she wakes up. although, must admit, she never seems too fussed about other childrens at mother n toddlers. however, when Christopher cries, she seems to always wanna go and stick his dummy in his moouth, even though he isnt really keen on it!!
Scruffy - i always read your signature, cos ther is only a month or so between Elle and Katie...but it only just danwed on me that her birthday is Christmas Day!!!-- i just refreshed and seen u said you dont celebrate her birthday and was in 2 minds to ask why.....lol but thats a good idea about celebrating it in june!! -- might be ackward to explain why she doesnt get a year older on her b'day though in the early years!???
night sm!Carla-Farla!!
