thanks guys. being reading the hmrc website in a bit more detail and is says there once we get our 'award notice' to contact them with my revised projected income for the year 09/10 and will re-calculate it for us. why this cant be done in the first place is strange as surely it's just more work for them.
friends have left theirs so they have a bit more money next year instead.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -

:rotfl:I just googled them all in a fluster cos I only knew they made cradle cap lotion and I thought you'd fed it to Holly by accident, but now I realise they make colic drops too, Phew!
Ha ha. Now that would make me a bad mother! :rotfl:
Jillie - I need to get in touch about TC and Child Benefit ir whatever it's called but mot looked into it yet. Hope you feel better soon.0 -
You're all making me jealous - Molly wakes every 3-4 hours at night insisting on being fed, and goes at it like a hungry wolverine. I don't want to start giving her formula, but if I'm not producing enough milk to sustain her I might not have an option.
I remember reading that babies need to be 15lbs to reliably keep them feeling reasonable through the night. She's nowhere near that yet so I'm still hopeful.
To-Do list being got through at a reasonable rate - the sticking point is that I have a working paper with a publication deadline before I'm back from ML and it needs to be done. It's hard to maintain a train of thought when I'm constantly entertaining or wrangling the baby.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

i lostour p60s...
had a fit of tidying over the past few weeks before kian was born and tidied them so well i lost them...
had to ring our payroll to get them to send us our earnings. checked with tax credits and said you dont actually need the p60 just the totals. p60 does make it easier though.
dont know if its backdated or not. dont see wht it shouldnt be though.
will let you know when it comes through. not expecting much but i'd rather have a little than nothing at all.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
do you not get double the TC's in the first year of the childs life though? if so, isnt it worth it to be assessed on this year rather than next as you will get more being on a lower income?
i left ours worked out on last years income, as OH's job is commission based and i thought that way there was less of a risk of being over paid. but when he is at home tomorrow i am going to give them a call and ask them to reassess on this years wages, as this will get me more help with childcare TC'sMummy to
