Morning all,
Well, Holly slept from about midnight until 6.30am when DH woke her up for a change and feed before he went to work. Isn’t that great?! Although she had been grunting on and off since about 4am, so I was lying awake anyway, ready to pounce and checking on her obsessively in case she woke properly and woke DH. So I am still shattered. Managed to get her back to sleep for a couple of hours so will wake her up in a minute and get her fed and changed. We have visitors coming at noon.
Christmas – I think I am going to end up having to host it this year and invite MIL, DH’s gran, my mum, dad, aunt, uncle. Although at my house, we have 1 main course and that’s it. At DH’s family’s they have a choice, and I am not willing to cook turkey and roast beef and roast ham etc! They can choose starters and desserts, but I have a baby to look after and they should be glad they are being invited in the first place! I haven’t cooked for so many before. I would partly like to spend our first Christmas as a family, just the 3 of us, but no way we can leave MIL on her own. FIL passed away just over a year ago. Other problem is that my mum keeps falling out with me and is totally neurotic and probably won't trust me to cook dinner anyway. She hung up on me the other night because she thinks I am a bad mother for laying Holly down on her play gym for 5 minutes (she loved watching the moving lights) and won't do as she tells me to! I am 33 by the way!
SM – I got a slow cooker for a wedding present over a year ago and still haven’t used it yet! I am too scared! Plan to try it out now that I am not working and have more time on my hands.
Better go, Holly is starting to stir. Oh, we got her Dentinox for the trapped wind. Anyone tried this? Her breath is stinking now!0 -

:rotfl:I just googled them all in a fluster cos I only knew they made cradle cap lotion and I thought you'd fed it to Holly by accident, but now I realise they make colic drops too, Phew!

I rang and told them because I feel that it makes more sense for me to have it than them hang onto it for another year.
Even with very poor interest rates, having the money a year earlier has got to be worth something IYSWIM?
