I'm not stopping anyhoo, we're all packed ready for the off in the morning... Just got to try and get some sleep now... Got butterflies! I've only ever been to London for work so never had a chance to look round properly... Even if it is only for 1 day

We deliberately set the precedent when we got married that we had our Christmas at our house. We see my family on Boxing Day and the OH's parents visit at the beginning of January. First year we went to visit OH's parents between Christmas and New Year but it ended up being very short and OH had to work a night shift straight after driving back (and his brother goes on holiday so is away if we go down then) so we changed to visiting in October when the roads are better and it's easier to fit it in. Unfortunately OH forgot to tell them this so the first October visit they were talking about things we would be doing together at Christmas and were a bit taken aback when OH said we weren't coming at Christmas and that was why we were there then.
