  • Ohohoh - another question (I am the big quesion fairy at the moment. Still asking all the questions in the world at work, although I am now veering back towards my normal "do you know you need to do X when X happens?" "Well why didn't you then????!!" type of questions, rather than "remind me, how do I do X"! Give me another month and they will all be fed up of my nagging ;) )

What do you do/plan to do re. babies getting christmas presents for Daddy? I normally get DH lots of littleish things (maybe a book, a dvd or two and some chocolate) rather than one big present, so I was thinking I'll just get the same amount of stuff as normal, and label one thing as being from Izzy rather than me. I was interested in what the rest of you will be doing though :)

Means I won't be able to keep up with you when I go back to work :(

Gutted....although, thinking about it, maybe listening to you lot chat about your babies might make work more difficult so maybe it isn't such a bad thing...

today i have washed/sterilised bottles, tidied, put laundy away, washed 3 loads, watched smallville twice :D (seth pickled during the first one so i watched it on +1 too lol) and i have made dinner already, all i need to do is fry the meatballs tonight  why am i being organised?! dinner is an experiment though so i wanted to test it well in advance in case i needed to do something else :rotfl: sausage meatballs in marinara sauce a la subway, but healthier!!

can anyone recommend a stick on toy? we dont want it for the highchair, we want it for seths walker, it used to have a phone and noisy buttons on it but OH ripped it off and destroyed it when hungover with DSD :rotfl:

  • Morning ladies!
Can one of you lot give me a kick up the backside please? I have so much to do, but have no energy at all (I think I have a cold too *sniffles*)

I took Bronwen for her 2nd lot of immunisations yesterday, she was very brave and after a small cry, gave the nurse the biggest smile ever! which really cheered the nurse up as she was having a nightmare day as she was running 45 minutes behind.

Just a quick update from us:
Bronwen is still sleeping through most nights (and has done since she was 5/6 weeks old) So we are very lucky indeed. Although she still has colic. I thought she may have grown out of it, so stopped her Infacol one day last week - OMG, I had forgotton how bad it can be, she screamed all evening until she could scream no more and was so red in the face she looked like a strawberry :(.
She is eating well now and is following the 50th centile.

As for other news, DH started a new job yesterday. it is a real step up for him and he is looking forward to a new challenge.
However, it may mean a house move for us, as he will be working occasionally in London, but may be based there in the future on a full time basis. So we have to think long and hard about where we see ourselves in the future and (on a more practical level) whether we can afford to sell at the moment.

I hope everyone is well here, and hugs to anyone who needs them.

Well, I suppose I better go and do some housework then....or a could make myself another coffee and some toast....hmmm...

Em, you make me feel tired just thinking about everything you've done! :p

When do you reach the point where you can actually get something done with your day? I suppose I could close the laptop for a start..

Random question, whenn people say 'milk wasn't doing anything for him' and 'milk wasn't enough' - what do they mean? How can you tell?
