We had a similar incident but it was OH preparing chillies, and not washing his hands properly before going to the loo! I'm sure it wasn't as bad as he made out - he said the burning sensation was the same, if not worse, than childbirth!

We had similar when Craig didn't wash his hands properly and then had a fiddle with my bits - ouch!!!!

What do you do/plan to do re. babies getting christmas presents for Daddy? I normally get DH lots of littleish things (maybe a book, a dvd or two and some chocolate) rather than one big present, so I was thinking I'll just get the same amount of stuff as normal, and label one thing as being from Izzy rather than me. I was interested in what the rest of you will be doing though :)

We normally just buy bits and bobs for each other and something small from the bairns - book, box of sweets, shower gel set - that kind of thing!

Food: I just weaned mine onto whatever food we were having and they all eat a wide variety of foods. They've never really had "childrens food" like chicken nuggets and smiley potato faces etc.

Sterlising: Once they were on the floor, I didn't bother sterilising bowls and spoons. Seemed a bit pointless sterilising stuff when the dog was giving them a manky rubber bone to chew  Still sterilised milk stuff as there's too many fiddly bits to clean in a bottle and I'm paranoid about milk bacteria as I used to work in a food microbiology lab.

Not well at the moment. Got some sort of cold/fluey/vomiting bug. Threw up most of last night and just feel snotty, achey and headachey today. I'm also freezing cold and have had to put the heating on. Craig is away on a course for work all week, so I've picked a great time to catch a bug :(
Here I go again on my own....

AM, toby is doing that too. He can also arch his back while on his feet and balancing on his head, ouch!

Getting him weighed shortly. Skipped last week after the completely unbelievable 5oz loss the week before. Has been long enough for them to fix the scales.

Perfect excuse to do nowt - just got stuck to the sofa by a breastfeeding baby for 40 minutes.. Been a long time since he's done that for so long! :D :j Every time he directly breastfeeds he falls asleep straight after  so he's in his bouncer now. Suppose now is a good time to get dressed.. :o

Gonna try and find some transitional clothing.

Mat stuff too big, normal clothes too tight :)

Tried a new group this morning.Think I will persevere with it, but it was hard work and I felt lonelier than at any other group. Mostly I think this is a race thing, cos the women were very friendly, but me and fergus stuck out a lot with our white faces and lack of arabic!

weezl - I find it a bit daunting going to a new group. I go to a breastfeeding support group on Tuesdays. I've been 3 or 4 times now and still don't feel I've 'gelled' with anyone yet. I sit on the play mat with Caitlyn and part of me thinks what am I doing here? Everyone else seems to know each other/chat about holidays, husbands and stuff.
