It is quite chilly in our house today (I own 2 pairs of slippers, but couldn't find 2 matching slippers, so I've had to put my trainers on, my feet are FREEZING!) and I'm not sure Izzy is wrapped up enough.
Its freezing here too! Violet has got a chavtastic pink velour tracksuit on (gift from MIL!), t-shirt, vest, socks and slippers. Just checked her hands and they feel warm.
I however am in leggings, socks, tshirt & cardi and my hands are blue!dinner is an experiment though so i wanted to test it well in advance in case i needed to do something else :rotfl: sausage meatballs in marinara sauce a la subway, but healthier!!
Can we have the recipie please, (only if its good!)
Subway marinara is my perfect hangover cure!
I've just phoned work HR to get info on career breaks as no-one at my actual office knows anything!(Or maybe they just don't want to tell me!).
I got a very helpful man who's going to print out the info and post it to me. :T
I spoke to my line manager yesterday, and at the end of the call he informed me i'd be going onto a new team when I return! Turns out its a team of b!tches who noone else wants to work with!
He seemed quite suprised that I didn't argue - little does he know i'm not going to be back for long.

Caitlyn is 12 weeks and she's had good head control for a good few weeks now. When Josh was a baby they were weaned at 16 weeks which is what I did with him. Now of course it's 6 months - they change their guidelines all the time, I think we as parents know what's best for our children. However I say that after already having a baby and doing it all by the book! It's all quite daunting when you're a first time parent.
Getting a bit fed up with DH. He was outside all day Staurday helping a bloke finish our paving on the patio, so I was stuck in here (it was too windy to be out with Caitlyn) making drinks for them and even bacon butties. Then Sunday we went to his mums, then Tesco, then home. I made our dinner, then took Josh to a party in the afternoon and took Caitlyn with me too. I was out for 3 hours with them, so I thought he could have cleaned the bathroom/hoovered up, but no! He was in his bl00dy garage! He's building a motorbike up from scratch and was busy [STRIKE]faffing[/STRIKE] studying his manual. It really peed me off. Caitlyn was good as gold at the party, but cried non-stop all the way home. He didn't come to the car to help get stuff out. When he saw I was making a few trips to the car he asked if I wanted a hand, but I'd got my stubborn head on by then so said no
The adjustable handle on my pram doesn't work properly so have got to take it back to the nearest store which is Meadowhall. There's no way I'll drive there on my own. It's not too far but Caitlyn often cries on car journeys and I wouldn't be able to stop if I was on the motorway with her. So have got to wait till the weekend when DH can come too.
Right she's asleep. Do I leave her on me here while she's quiet, or do I risk putting her down so I can [STRIKE]put the kettle on[/STRIKE] empty the washer? Hmmm..............................Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0 -
Right HV phoned, and Dylan is for getting his milk changed to prescription milk as the Gaviscon isnt working and if this doesnt help in 7 days he will get referred to Musgrave which is a specialist hospital in Belfast.
Apparently they dont normally send hospital referrals this soon, and even though he is gaining weight, they want to be careful with him incase something was undetected.
I guess its if one valve didnt open properly at birth, another one may not have opened properly either. Oh well, at least we are getting looking into
Right, I am off out to pick up his new milk, go back to Asda to get think milk teats for the bottles, pick Jasmine up from school, got to MILs to say goodbye to SIL who was over on holidays for the weekend, and then home to the houseworkAnyone wanna help ?????
