on that subject does anyone know much about asthma?
I live at the top of a big hill and when I've walked down to the highstreet the trip back up the hill kills me!
its much worse when its cold and basically my chest feels tight like I can't take a big breath and I get a bad cough that lasts for an hour or two after I'm home.
Does that sound like asthma? do you think the GP would do anything if its only affecting me like that? (I'm a 'risk' of asthma I think, coz I have eczema, hayfever and many allergies )
Do you have a wheeze? I have a definite wheeze with a shortness of breath, and my chest/back hurts as I am using these muscles to breath - If that makes senseMy GP wouldn't even give me an inhaler when I was pregnant and had been in a&e on a nebulizer, despite me being on both blue (reliever) and brown (preventer) inhalers when younger.

Is there a lot of traffic because I've always found running or walking uphill on busy roads (especially with standing traffic) affect me.
I don't walk up our hill when there's traffic because it usually coincides with hoards of people walking downhill fromt he train station
edit: nms I can't remember if I wheeze or not but I don't think so, I supose I'll never know unless I get off my bum and see the gp lol0 -
Not read back from when I was here this morning, just popped on before I go and get Joshua to confess that I feel like a sh!ote mummy today.
Last night I picked Lexi up out of her cot and caught her with one of my nails (wouldnt mind but I took them all off last week and cut them right down - never had an accident wearing acrylics) Anyway it cut herI felt terrible!
Now she has just been crawling towards me which is brilliant as she has been crawling backwards for weeks but just couldnt get the going forwards unless it was commando style and fell right onto her cheek.
She has never had a mark on her before and now two in less than 24 hours! Im so mad at myself which I know is stupid - (someone please tell me Im being stupid) as accidents happen all the time but cant help it .....

you are doing a good job!Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -
Sami, we have burgers in the freezer so would rather just have meatballs (the kids love them, its food and its a ball), will probably do a red wine and onion gravy with chips.
Sparkle, your not a crap mum, accidents happen, though sadly she has had 2 so will probably have another one soon  It always happens in 3s!
Maz, canisten cream has always been enough for me, but you can get stuff from the chemist and if you have that minor ailments thing you can get it free.0 -
Maz - your GP will prob prescribe canisten without seeing you because it's common in pg. Mi ne gave me the pessary & cream but some are funny about the pessary (eventhough it is safe according to the leaflet)
sparkle you've done fab o get so far with no accidents! I'm terrible for bumping into walls with Ed & Chris0 -
