elle rhys is probably feeling groggy after the sedation, i know how bad my OH was after he had his. lots of fluid and sleep helps though, do you know when you will get all the results etc?

OH has nipped out to meet someone after more car bits and i just want to cry? erin has her top 2 teeth coming in and has eventually went to sleep and charlie decided to take a pen to my lovely cream walls :(

sami - ur docs can test for asthma - they do a spirometry test. Was always used to diangose COPD but recently they say Asthma should only be diagnosed by Spirometry testing for anyone over 8.

MM - Glad there were some positiives from your appt.

Maz - live yoghurt is supposed to help I think. Eat it and slap it on!

Sami - Did u say Tomos like Nessa off Gav & Stace? :rotfl:

I knocked Jacks head on the door frame the other night - my excuse is it was 3am, dark and I was tired!

    NMS - where u been hiding? Don't see u much anymore :(

Bruno - OMG I would die! I hate Spiders so bad - I remember when my sis was a baby and she trying to catch and eat ants in the garden
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

Oh Elle, it's all over with now, poor Rhys hope he settles down soon. Bet you needed lots of cuddles after it as well! I refused DS2 to have one. There is no medical need beyond them being curious as to what damage is there and it may explain what happened and after hearing that I'm glad!

    No RR made up?

I may have to boil some caramel in your honour ;)

Now you bloody tell me! :p:o We just went with the top docs opinion, although we know she is known for being very "thorough" and perhaps carrying out tests which aren't completely necessary - such as this and the first MRI and also various blood tests, although they have turned out to give us a better picture so worth it in the end (and have always been an extension of ones which did need doing, so no extra needles, just same needle but more blood out iyswim). I don't think I'd want him to have one once he's old enough to remember, but then I don't want him as upset as he has been today again either  Have told OH he's going in next time, if there is a next time!

He's asleep now after having more milk, finally - again, wouldn't keep his mouth tight shut long enough to suck the bottle but was probably crying with hunger in part too!

OH has told me I can cheer myself up by bidding on a leopard print snowsuit ending soon on eBay :D

I meant to ask about the caramel actually.. Is it really just the tin in a pan of boiling water for a long time? Do you have to open the tin a bit? Sorry to be thick.. :o

sparkle you've done fab o get so far with no accidents! I'm terrible for bumping into walls with Ed & Chris :o

Door frames are the thing at our house. I cant seem to walk through one with Leila without her sticking her arm out and wacking it.

The worst is trying to put her in her cot on her tummy when she's fast asleep on my shoulder. I have to bend to one side and angle her legs down first and place them with her knees bent and then detangle her arms and place her head down so its on the side with one arm outstretched and the other bent with her hand near her mouth. There's been a few times where her little head has bounced on the mattress whilst undertaking this very precise manoevure!

Said up to two weeks, but we're seeing the consultant next Monday anyway for usual six weekly checkup so hopefully we might find out something then - depends if all the docs have sat down together to talk about it by then.

    Hiya

Just caught up as I was out and about yesterday.

    ((Huggles)) for those in need.

I see that there was some talk on Parental responsibility last night, which happens to be one of my favourite topics!!

If anyone has any questions about contact, residence, parental responsibility and the like, I am always happy to help xxxx

emlou - your OH really ought to take Mooki up on her offer...

I had a bit of a hairy moment this morning. We were in bed asleep and the doorbell rang. I jumped out of bed with Leila and my legs collapsed beneath me. Thankfully, I dropped Leila in her cot on the way down but she only just made it. I couldnt stand for about 10 mins. I dont know what happened but it really shook me and OH. Although OH was horrified as when he rushed round the bed to see if I was okay, I just shouted at him to answer the door and get my parcel!! I wouldnt want to miss the postman now, would I?!!

Leila looked quite shocked as one minute she was fast asleep in mummys arms and the next she gets flung into her cot! I felt really awful and kept saying sorry to her.

I hope you are okay Mook, do you know what happened? But I have to say that the bit in bold made me giggle out loud!!! Just the kind of thing I would do!

Afternoon all :hello: We're home! :D

Well, MRI was done under sedation...and it has honestly got to be one of the scariest things I've ever seen/heard :( ... Sorry to sound melodramatic, but it really was just so ick! :(

HUGS Elle - you are not being melodramatic at all. It is the scariest thing ever :( and I was a fully grown adult when I had mine. I can't imagine having to watch Benjamin go through anything like that. I cry when a phonecall goes badly these days

Been to see a childminder this afternoon (was there for 90 mins ) and missed the call back from the stupid-non-explaining-who-she-is-lady but she says she has 3 netwrok childminders in my area with vacancies.

The one today was fab but there are some points that both of us need to mull over.

Must remember I am at the docs at 5.20pm...I wonder if I can get the babba to have a nap before then???
