Hugs to Rhys & Elle :grouphug:
Andrew's booked in for an MRI at the end of October, and part of me hopes that he's still a SCBU resident at that point (it's before his due date) as it means that a nurse can take him down and then comfort him afterwardsI think I'd find it too traumatic

Mel - can you store the wood/mirrors in the garage or loft, in case they ask you to put it back to how it was?

Sweetie, I'm sorryI didn't think  I can't lie and say it wasn't horrible but at the same time it didn't hurt him like needles do and he instantly screams.
He was wearing ear defenders but they were the same type as mine which weren't exactly tight so I don't know how much he heard - but he's probably got a headache now! I think I just wasn't prepared for how loud it was and I didn't know how long it would go on for (I think it varies depending on the procedure but today's probably took about 12minutes from closing the door and opening it again) so it seemed endless.
I don't think I would suggest anyone went in there, in hindsight. Like I said, he's not having anything painful done to him whilst he's in there, so you might be better just to go as far as it takes to settle him and then be there when he comes out again (or alternatively, stay on the ward, totally up to you)Unfortunately as noisy as it is, you can't stop the noise for them, it's just got to happen. I didn't like seeing him in the tunnel bit although also couldn't take my eyes off him, but maybe that's cos I'm a bit claustrophic myself and don't think I would have liked it much!

Hi all
I just have very little time at the moment
A couple or three of things - Thanks to all those replies about the tax credits.
We've split the money into 4 pots. 25% will go a break of some sort, possibly in a half term in February time, 25% will be spent on Christmas presents for the girls, 25% will be put into their bank accounts and 25% is currently giving the girls new/refreshed wardrobes! All future payments will be the same, as it's their money and we survived well without it and i'm getting alot of extra work from home at the moment, which is useful
I think my 15yo is depressed. She has split from on/off boyfriend after he 'went with' another girl when she didn't go out with him when she had a cold and he has been saying nasty things about her. I saw him the other day with what seemed to be a black eye and I found out later that one of 15yo's friends hit him in the face with her bag  I'd like to say it saved me a job, but one he's only 15 and two it wouldn't heal my babies heart, even though I should probably have had words with the idiot. I remember my first heartbreak and we all have it at some point. She'll be okay
Finally, 16yo has now got a facebook account. She doesn't know how to block people from posting on her wallwithout blocking each person manually. She's tried just allowing certain people, but others are still posting. She doesn't even know who half of them are
Any facebook experts able to help?
Anyway, I hope everyone is well. The cold weather is slowly coming in  More bills :o0 -

I think she has her settings on friends only. I think she said that friends of her friends can post on her wall? It's all foreign to me, but i'll go through it with her later0
