Thanks Girls....I will do it:D:p
I am so excited now - they want a Sponge Bob room I can't wait to start shopping for all the bits and pieces now:j:j
It is going to cost a fair amount so I am doing it as part of their Christmas present, because I am planning on getting all sorts of bean bags and extra bits that could be considered pressies anyway and part of doing the room will be to get them a new (flatscreen) tv to hook the PS3 up to...see...spoilt!
Oooh nice to see you MOTM - glad tax credits got sorted out for you

Just made a chicken and broccoli lasagne, was really nice! Made a cheese sauce but then figured the chicken & broccoli would be a bit dry, so added a tin of condensed soup to that and it tastes fab!
OH's mum gave me a slow cooker recipe book and there is one for a tuna lasagne in that, sounds intriguing, might have to give that a bash soon!
Also got a homemade apple crumble cooking in the oven. What a productive day

Glad you got home with Rhys Elle, and hope he feels better soon, poor man. You'd think someone would invent a quiet MRI scanner!0

Thinking meatballs and mushrooms on kebab sticks? With reggae reggae sauce or red wine? DH is bored of spaghetti and meatballs (so am I).
Served with chips or baby potatoes.

Grr - so I spend £5 on a 1.8L one when that woulda been perfect at 3.3l.
Now do I buy it cos it's bigger and would mean I could do all my batch cooking in it and just use the little one for mini roasts and daily meals that I haven't batch cooked or do I resist?
Can u get it in store?A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
May I ask what a slow cooker is useful for and anywhere I could get some recipe tips?
I've heard about them, but know very little and would like to expand my culinary skills and impress my girls

I have the Asda ONN one, only has two heat settings but it's great. Don't know how many litres it is, but it's pretty big!0
