MFD - Try not worry about it, just explain when she calls back that you didn't give her all the information you wanted too because you thought you were talking too a receptionist?

I'm sure you will find the childminder for you, just go give your baby lots of cuggles in bed :)

Ewwp. OH just emailed me - Elijah has developed a very sweet habit the last few weeks of finding objects and giving them to us, so that we can say thank you and he can clap and grin. Our shoes, remote controls, random toys, spoons, whatever.

So this morning, as OH was just getting blearily up, he toddles over and hands her a small furry thing - she takes it, then pretty much dies as she discovers it to be a live, large furry spider!:eek::eek:
OH is really not great with spiders, she usually screams incoherently and hides til I fix them, so this was a huge test of character and mothering instinct for her! Which I am glad to say she passed :p but eww!
:eek::eek::eek::eek: You should have seen me when Chris attempted to hand me a live woodlouse I screamed the place down and I hadn't even accepted it :o
    Well done mrs bruno!

    Hugs MFD :(

    Reporting back on 'splat'

Very good! Free :money:. Nice mums, one dad and a nice mix of nationalities. Bit of singing, then bit of craft. Takes me less than 10 mins to get there. Ticks all my boxes really :)

Not gonna try an afternoon one today. Need to help the fairies find bigger jiffy bags and have a sit down :)

  • Hi everyone :)

Well physio went quite well today, Dylan opened his hands loads for her and was giggling when she made him sit up from lying on his back :rotfl:

She said the tone from his knee to his ankle on both legs has almost fixed itself as he seems to have free movement there now and his hands and neck are coming on loads, but his elbows and hips have no noticeable improvement at all in the last 6 weeks which is a bit disappointing :(
I think she noticed I was a bit upset by this, and spend a good 10 mins talking to me about possible outcomes. She seems to think that the aqua therapy will really help him, but has told me not to get my hopes up too much in him having no long term problems as his tone is exceptionally high and even though they will be able to loosen him up a bit, its not likely that they will be able to 'fix' him completely.

So a bit of good news and a bit of bad news, but at least he has some joints improving, and to be honest, thats the best news she could have told me, as I could have heard that he hadnt improved at all

Sorry that was a bit long

Hope you are all well and babies are behaving :)

Tia, if you need someone to Paypal for you so you can get the "stuck" stuff, let me know.

Feelie, can you add Andrew's weights? (he'll be down the bottom of the graph, I know!) I don't have all of them written down, but I think the spreadsheet can fill in the gaps!

    Birth - 635g
    Week 3 - 933g
    Week 4 - 1104g
    Week 5 - 1289g
    Week 6.5 - 1440g

Aw thank you for the offer! But luckily paypal decided in my favour. They knew as they had frozen those two transactions for review anyway. All sorted now and a cute pink coco jacket will be arriving sometime
    :D

Andrew is the littlest but his weight gain is really encouraging!

I'll look out the boys later on.

The bin men actually came back to empty my bin! It's a miracle!
4th time we've been missed on our usual day but 1st time they came back after I complained!

Chris sounds awful today, loosing his voice rapidly and his chest sounds really rattley, question is do I keep him inside nice n warm or get him some fresh air that is also freezing :undecided
I personally wouldnt take him out if his chest is bad, dont you ever come in the warm from being out in the cold and feel your chest tightenig, or maybe thats just me :o
