Sami - what would docs do about my wrist? I already have it in a support with a metal bar in it and will just take painkillers (when I find them!)
I have problems with my left wrist anyway from a car accident I had years ago - I pulled the steering wheel really hard to avoid a car flipping over on the motorway and strained it quite badly. I get the odd twinges now and then but can see why it's bad now - I always carry Jack in my left arm and use my right for doing everything else.thanks sami, no breezes in this house its the warmest house i have ever lived in! i think i must have lay funny but my god it hurts! told OH i would rather be in labour lol! ill try the compresses too but i hate the cold ones

feelinggood wrote: »Thanks for all the hugs last night. OH didn't talk to me much this morning, just got up and went to work. To be honest, I was pretty shocked last night - things have been really nice for ages. He spends lots more time with Toby, and with me. We went out for a walk yesterday, and the path was really bumpy and he worried about LO getting bounced about too much, so he carried him. Then to come home and tell me that he wonders every day if we'd be better off apart.feelinggood wrote: »If anyone else is wanting on the graph, let me know. Hope that all goes well for Rhys' scan today...I'd never really considered how difficult it must be to do a scan of a baby when they don't understand that they have to stay still!
Thanks for adding Hugh to the graph Feelie...I hope that you are feeling better today. I used to cry quite a bit; it was overtiredness in my case....I'm someone who needs her sleep, so only getting 3 hours of sleep per day was a shock that no-one could prepare me for!
We have just had our wills rewritten (waiting for them to arrive in the post so we can sign them) to have one of my sisters as Hugh's guardian. We chose her because she is married, so would have the extra support (obviously we checked with them that this would be okay!) and she also has a regular hours job in one place, whereas my other sister and SIL both have demanding jobs where they travel around a lot and work long hours...so much harder for them...and also my first sister adores children and is very good with them :T.wow Hugh's weight increased quickly!. Anyway, he seems to be slowing down now that he is nearly at the 50th percentile for weight. The doctor reckons he won't need weaning until about 6 months, so we plan to start at the beginning of December, to give us plenty of time before we have the extra disruption of travelling to the UK for Christmas...and all the excitement that that brings (for his mother, anyway ).
ETA: Sorry, I don't know how to do the quote thing properly, and get the "Originally posted by xxx" thing...any tips please?!:jBaby boy, Hugh, born on the 8th June 2009, weighing 2.5kg:j0 -
