Hi everyone, back from Edinburgh, with a lovely cold! My eyes are nose are streaming, making me wanna claw my face off. Had a good time, didn't get drunk either :) Spent too much though, usual!

Also realised I totally need to stop eating crap cause those travelodge mirrors were unkind, looked fatter in them than the ones at home. Diet diet diet. Course my jeans and that look worse cause I don't just have a muffin I have a bulge at the crotch from that disgusting apron, fnnnnanrrrrr.

Sorry can't help with the weights Feely, I never bothered taking Keira to get weighed, think she got done about 2 weeks after birth when I took her to see the HV and that was it!

Sorry chuck, is there not a park you can go for a wonder around? avoid spending too much in the shops? or if you do go into town come back and let me know what cuteness there is to be found in H&M I do love the baby stuff in there!

4th time we've been missed on our usual day but 1st time they came back after I complained!

Chris sounds awful today, loosing his voice rapidly and his chest sounds really rattley, question is do I keep him inside nice n warm or get him some fresh air that is also freezing :undecided

Ewwp. OH just emailed me - Elijah has developed a very sweet habit the last few weeks of finding objects and giving them to us, so that we can say thank you and he can clap and grin. Our shoes, remote controls, random toys, spoons, whatever.

So this morning, as OH was just getting blearily up, he toddles over and hands her a small furry thing - she takes it, then pretty much dies as she discovers it to be a live, large furry spider!:eek::eek:
OH is really not great with spiders, she usually screams incoherently and hides til I fix them, so this was a huge test of character and mothering instinct for her! Which I am glad to say she passed :p but eww!
  • I am in tears again! I called the stupid Childminder Network woman and whilst she is going to find out for me and let me know of good childminders with vacancies the phonecall just went all wrong.

I called and asked for the lady, she asked who was calling, so I said my name, and she asked what it was about, so thinking I was talking to a receptionist I said that I had been told that she could help me finding a CM, so she asked me more details and I think that she was the woman that I was supposed to be talking to...but she never said so.

Now I am all upset that I didn't really say all I wanted to say because I thought I was just going through the motions and I didn't know that she was the right lady.

What an idiot. I am a mess! She is doing what I wanted her to and she will call me back later but I just feel like I didn't put myself across very well and it is so important....

Taking my baby back to bed :(

    Morning all,
Josh is off school today with a cold/sore throat. Just hoping he doesn't pass it on to Caitlyn

Quite chilly here. Trying to hold off on the heating though - have shut all the doors too keep the heat in (I sound like my dad!).
Got Caitlyn weighed last week, she was 10lb 9oz at 11+ weeks. I looked at Josh's chart when he was the same age and he was 11lb 9! He was FF and she is stil BF.
