How far do fairy wishes extend ... do they include those yet to arrive?
of course
And I'm sure a baby born on the 99.6th centile who waent down to the 91st wouldn't get so much fuss made. It's like they don't realise that "normal" is not the same for everybody.
Indeed. And yet the NHS agenda for adults is all about obesity prevention and management. All this pressure for the first year or two to be at the top of the centile charts, and then a lifetime pressure to bring people back down again.
It's crazy!

It might be too late, but have you considered grabbing a pillowcase to put your clothes in to keep them from being damaged?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

I just made the economy gastronomy black bean quessidila thing. OMG soooo nice! Not happy about price of the beans though, 99p a can from Tesco, and organic too. I DONT WANT ORGANIC! Only ones they had though! Anyone know where I could get them? Dried if neccassary, cause they are very nice and also VERY filling, so I'd like to make them regularly. Also the recipe makes 2, 1 is enough for 2 people!
Also what is allspice and where do I get it0 -
Oh cr"p my whole post went.
ANyway, molly into peppa pig not night garden anymore and my friend just blew me out for drinkies and dinner tonight, so told OH to bring home ready meals and I;ll freeze what i made for when he does come round. Save me cooking again.
Molly is being such a girl at the moment in her play and speech, i'm fascinated by her and her abilities, doing much more at jack at this age. Is it a girl thing or second sibling, i can't tell. I know girls do things quicker.
Right, my bundle of joy needs to get into pjs soon, she has soo many clothes given to her lately by 4 diff peeps, that i'm going to have to sort out and put by things, ebay things and charity shop things. Raise money for the next lot!!0 -
What's wrong with organic? (Other than being more expensive.)Buttonmoons wrote: »I just made the economy gastronomy black bean quessidila thing. OMG soooo nice! I'm not sure about where you could get them as I get mine from SUMA but suggestions if no supermarkets have them would be health food shops, Asian supermarkets or have a google and see what you can find online. Dried beans work out much cheaper than tinned.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Being more expensive is what's wrong with them
Very nice though. Never thought I'd like a bean this much, as kidney beans turn my stomach a bit, think it's the weird texture of them. 0 -

Thanks Krystal. I am doing just that. she just had a n30min feed from me and is now having some formula. While I was feeding her all I had in my head was that my milk isnt enough, which I know is rubbish but from everyone going on about her weight its stressing me. Part of me knows that they are talking crap but a part of me is still sitting in a corner howling that my baby is being starved and neglected. So am=ngry about it too. So I've no expectations right now, going for the path of least resistance and we'll see how things go. I want to keep BF because I really do love it but if combining makes me feel less stressed then fine.
Susan, what really p1sses me off is that I had GD so her birth weight is nonesence. I think I am right in thinking that most GD babies drop down the lines anyway, especially if it was never under control, which mine wasn't.
MM, thanks hun!0 -

Try Asian/ethnic shops, they tend to be cheaper and available dried in massive bags.
Allspice is a mix of spices, you'll find it in the spice aisle of the supermarket.
If you buy dried black beans, throw a bunch of them into a pan and cover with water. Add salt, coriander and cumin (all dried), a chopped onion and some garlic. Bring to the boil and leave for about 45 minutes or so, checking back and adding water whenever necessary. Tip a tin of value chopped tomatoes in and cook till there's almost no water left. Mash roughly, spread in warmed tortillas and add sour cream and salsa for healthy omnomnom wraps.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
