    Your phone has no relevance.

Does your price plan include 03 in your inclusive minutes?
  • I rung the number and was informed that this part of the call was free and then I would be transferred to the X Factor Voting Line which was a Premium Rate call so I put the phone down!

Yes if you have inclusive 01/02/03 minutes.

I've never tried an 03 number but my plan includes 01 & 02 numbers so I'm guessing I should be fine! :)

3 Mobiles Inclusive calls/texts are calls from UK to standard UK landlines beginning 01, 02, 03 and UK mobiles and texts sent in the UK to standard UK mobiles.

So you should not have been charged for calls to an 03 number unless you have used up your inclusive minutes.

I would speak to 3 as they have charged you to much. No network will charge you 50p per call to an 03 number, its illegal. Search 03 numbers on the Ofcom website
  • This was at least a free call for me, whether is actually registered in another matter! I checked my online billing afterwards and it definately wasn't charged. It said "your vote for .... has been registered" so fingers crossed!
