  • :confused:Doesnt a proportion of the normal call go to Charity. If so what provision has Free2Vote made to cover the shortfall?

    No it doesn't.

Even if it did, it would make no difference. In effect the advertiser is paying for your call to vote.

    Free votes aint working
Not been in here for years. Life got hectic!
  • "This line isn't accepting calls at present" says the BT autotron.

I'll give it a little while though, give them time to sort it/turn them on.
  • I take it back.

All working fine - all numbers are here: http://free2call.tv/X-Factor.html

It took a while for the numbers to be displayed but thanks to Carvell I've got through.
  • Free voting has finished now. I assume the 10,000 votes have gone!
  • No problem voting this week. Sponsor is the RSPCA again - very weird ad - still worries me that a charity is subsidising my votes. I'd like to see the sponsor name displayed on the website so I can choose not to waste their donated cash.

maybe more people heard of it this week? or they've not actually had the 10000 votes they said as lines closed before I even got a chance to check numbers about 30mins after show ended.... :(

I and most other people have to pay for their minutes in a bundle. So how are the votes free.

    "That’s it! ....and it’s free*
*You can use your landline or your mobile. It doesn’t matter to us.
As long as you have unused minutes to use in your contract, then the call is free.
Make sure you get permission from the person who pays the bill. "
