Obviously it's not free if you decide to get a phone line so you can vote on the X Factor, but I think the service and Martin's article were working on the assumption that you already had one.I am an Accountant. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as an Accountant. All posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and should not be seen as professional advice.0 -
Managed to get through on Saturday night after a few tries, sometimes heard the advert then got cut off, sometimes didnt get through at all then managed to vote twice no bother. just a wee bit of patience to listen to the very strange RSPCA advert!0

Thanks mate.
What a pity0 -
Tonight would have been the first time I used the service, and I refreshed the page for the numbers and dialled within seconds. I have tried for 6 minutes and although I got a message from Free to Call saying they would divert me to the premium rate line and then I listened to the message from Martin Lewis saying MSE had stepped in toensure free votes as there was no sponsorshipthis week, what then happened wasI got the discontinued tone. I tried about 8 times and never had any joy,so I wanted to raise this, as if MSE have had to pay for this, then I would have expected it to work within the first 2 mins before 2000 votes were cast.
I also thought that if it has cost MSE any money the issue should be highlighted so that it can be addressed.
Not moaning, just giving feedback.0 -

Same here.
Heard Martin's message and then the line cut off straight after the message. I'd get your money back Martin.0
