There is more to this.
The free calls are apparently a security risk, which may mean all voters get their money back!

"No one from outside Britain is allowed to vote on The X Factor, in which a contestant is eliminated every week, and attempts to make premium-rate calls from abroad are instantly blocked.
But Mark Hillman, the businessman behind free2call.tv, conceded that up to 12 per cent of the 50,000 X Factor viewers who have used his service are from Ireland."
At least we know how two talentless jerks manage to stay on each week. :rotfl:0 -
i smell a hint of jealousy in that articleReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0

I never voted and never will - but after last weeks "result" I mentioned to someone about these free call voting lines which are likelt to have an adverse influence the outcome.......talentless jerks I agree with totally. In the so called auditions, these two idiots (or is it one) shouted over another singer during a grouped audition, eliminating the lady in the process.0 -
The free2call votes don't even make up 1% of the total votes, so the 12% in Ireland aren't going to make that much difference - and i'd say not all of those 12% are voting Jedward...0

It's working now.
Forwarding to the X-Factor lines as it should.0 -
Tried to vote last night and again at 6pm. I heard Martin's message but it's still not conecting through to X Factor.
I think ITV etc are trying to foul this up, which I think is pretty low. Well, I'm not paying for a vote so they ain't gonna get my money!0 -
Votes are now being registered.0

I've just voted and mine registered.
What act are you trying to vote for? It could be that the actual X Factor lines are busy.0 -
