So I gave up as it seems far too big for me. I generally only use Tampax mini as these are most comfortable for me and my periods are generally quite light.
Anyone else had any trouble actually getting the thing in?0 -
Maybe we should be sending links to this discussion to our (female?) MPs. The cost and environmental impact of sanitary protection is a real taboo subject - but it costs us ladies a lot. I think we even pay VAT on them??
Why dont teenage girls' mags/guides include advice on mooncups?
I'll be trying one now that I have found out about them (aged 43...).0 -

me
I fold it as suggested but it opens up too quick and I can't seem to persuade it 'up' any further - I know it doesn't go up as far as a tampon but I'm pretty sure I'm not supposed to look like I'm laying an egg.:rotfl:
Sorry if that's tmi. Must persevere as I refuse to buy any more pads.
essexgal;)old enough to know better, young enough not to care;)0 -

Love my moon cup - no more buyingof expensive sanitary towels, tampons etc, good money investment!!!!! :T The company that make them need to get out there into schools and colleges. We need to see them talking to girls - not just the good old "tampax / sanitary towel promotion"
I want a badge to say i'm wearing mine - it would start a conversation!!0 -
Perhaps they should made a smaller size for the young girls (and me).0
