I've been using the Mooncup for about 7 months now (I think....) and I think it's fantastic...I really love it. I used to have a lot of discomfort with other products.....not any more!

I've had a mooncup for about a year now - its great! :T
It definitely gets easier to take it out as you get more used to it.
Remember to relax, and take deep breaths if it hurts. I sometimes find that squeezing the cup part inwards helps too, and makes sure the seal is completely broken (hurts otherwise!).
If only I didn't have to boil it at 6.30am so my housemates don't see and think I'm crazy! :eek:Saved for a house deposit! :j Now for a new kitchen!

Hi
I'm a newbie just joining this site. I've had a mooncup for about 18 months and wouldn't be without it. I trimmed the stem to about half it's size and find that if I squeeze to fully break seal then no probs. Actually think it's less painful than removing a tampon - no dryness now. :j0 -

Is that only in stores cause it doesn't seem to be online?0 -
Oops I'd looked on the wrong date, the 3 for 2 on feminine hygeine is online now.0

Why would you want three mooncups? or have I got this all wrong surely you only need one???
Someone could always buy three and sell the others to other moneysavers???
I might be interested if someone told me the price.

yeah am pretty sure you only need one... maybe two tops, but not three. Think most people only have one. They'd work out to be about 13.50 each on boots' offer, not bad if you're already willling to pay £20 for one. Wouldn't mind paying £13 for one but don't want 3, pmsl. Am ordering some stuff on boots later on, so will let you know if I get brave and buy one, lol.0

LOL
I've managed with 1 for the last 2 years, and theyre supposed to last around 15 years, so either you could have spares, or get together with some mates..bargain though!

lavenderblue wrote:Another mooncup lover here, been using mine since last summer and it has never let me down, it takes a bit of getting used to at first but once mastered, it seems silly to use anything else. You should practice a bit before you have your first period, make sure you are nice and relaxed, perhaps after a bath or shower. IF you are worried about the size of the cup (I was, I though it looked huge) don't be, they are the same size as a ermm, man's end and that fits ok!!
One tip, when you practice before your period, don't put too much KY jelly on it or you are likely to make too slippery, it fly out of your hands and it land on your rather suprised looking cat.
Thanks for the info, & the laugh (bit about the cat!!) :rotfl:FAIRTRADE NOT FREE TRADE
