Hey, regular Mooncup girls, could use a bit of help here...
After my debating earlier in the thread, got myself a MC and am trying it out for the first time. [TMI alert!!] seems to go in fine (sorry) but it just doesn't feel comfy so I'm convinced I haven't got it right.
the feeling is like when a tampon slips down too far... I did used to get this with Tampax sometimes, even when I first put them in, like they didn't fit properly, and after two kids, perhaps it's just me...?!
Any tips gratefully appreciated!

Can you feel it, does it feel too low? Is it the stem that you can feel?Just run, run and keep on running!0

Yes, it feels too low. Well, it felt too low... since I posted last night I think I've got it sussed, cos I can no longer feel it's there. It's great!0

I put mine in low, and my body seems to 'suck' it into the right position! Sorry, didn't know quite how to describe it!!0

I just wanted to chime in and say 'hi' as another mooncup user! I too can't believe that boots is selling them! my gosh!
I've had mine for about 5 years now (although I've had two babies in that time and breastfed for 3 years so i've probably only used it for about a year! ha ha).
I have to say that it took me about 3 'cycle's to get really comfortable with it - i could sometimes feel it - getting it positioned was a bit hit and miss, but now it's second nature.

Taken from the Mooncup website today :
"From Wed 19th July until Tues 15th August Boots are offering 3 items for the price of 2 on all feminine hygiene products. This means that you can buy 3 Mooncups for less than £40! Time to get together with friends and buy in bulk, or what about stocking up with presents for birthdays or, dare I say it, Christmas!"0 -
I've gotta say, I SOOOO wanted this to work but it just doesn't seem like it's right for me. I've emailed the very helpful Mooncup advice people and it would appear that I have a low cervix, so the thing just doesn't stay in high enough.
Don't like not being able to be part of the Mooncup club!!:(0 -

I do, I do! I cycle and love it. Particularly great when travelling when you don't want to carry heaps of supplies with you and also don't want to leave any trace on the environment, while camping for example.0 -

I've just started using one and I have trained in the gym wearing it. I'm a powerlifter so lift quite heavy weights (well heavy for me anyway). For a scary monent when I was doing squats I thought it might pop out :embarasse as there's a lot of pressure down there halfway through the movement but it was fineSorry it's a bit gross!

How low is low? Do you have children? If you have then you can expect your cervix to feel lower down if you're looking for it while you're in a sitting position (sat on the loo?)
The mooncup sits 'just' inside you. Have you used tampons in the past?Just run, run and keep on running!0
