The only thing likely to change things (ie Visa charges) is some sort of Facebook protest like the one HSBC were faced with regarding student overdraft charges.

But the truth is until anything changes you have no choice of card and the charges are 'correct' whether agreed with or otherwise.

Of course you have choice of card. I choose not to pay with RBS or Santander because I don't want to pay these fees. So i pay with someone else. (Coventry BS)

No one is forcing you to use cards that charge there are plenty of cards that don't charge, if you went to the bother of getting one.

Never really make foreign transcations and I must say I always expect a charge when doing them.

Normally my paypal payments come straight from my bank account rather than off my card.

Is there a link to all the charges for using the card on the Natwest site or any of the other banks who issue the card? Or possibly on the Visa site somewhere?

I don't believe anything I regularly use my card for will attract a charge but would be useful to see exactly what I might get charged for using it.

If it doesn't say Highline 100 or 250, it won't.

Have you deliberately misunderstood what I put?

I think it's pretty clear I was meaning those people with only these cards from RBS group.

All of a sudden my Natwest Visa Debit is not working on ANY online sites! Getting really angry, spent most of the evening on the phone to Natwest who told me it is getting declined because information is not matching. I toddle back to laptop, check and double check info, still no joy, ring Natwest again to check they have correct info (my postcode etc...) all ok.

Now they are saying all is hunky dory at their end and it must be me putting in wrong details (I'm not)!!!:mad:

Has anybody had any joy at rectifying this problem? I'm so sick of calling blooming Natwest, they just can't seem to grasp what I'm saying
