Hey thanks Savvy,

a company that a few of my clients have mentioned (i'm an accountant, not working in the world's oldest profession!!) is vansure direct ltd. apparently they are quite straight forward in their t&c's and have competetive prices.I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the Ramada/Days Inn BRG thread.0

Has anyone any experience of insuring a vehicle which is owned by, and registered in the name of a Company.
Our very old (G Reg) van needs insuring by Monday (Tuesday at latest), and I have been trying to get online quotes. All seem to want the name and address of individuals, and do not seem to be able to take the information of the Company as proposer and owner, and then driver details.
I have been quoted £226, but this broker has been getting very expensive recently, and I have moved most of our insurances to on line deals. This one has got me stumped for the moment, so any advice would be greatfully received.
Thanks in advance.0 -
Can you not just reregister it in the name of as person?Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0

Not by Tuesday, and I'm not sure how the Inland Revenue would look at that.0 -

Thanks everyone - in the end decided I didn't have time to sort it out so renewed with brokers for now. Will take some time to look at the rest in the next few days - I suppose I can always cancel, and get a refund of unused payment. Will make a diary note to be more organised next time!!0
