  • Morning all!

32B - Hoping things are on the up for your sister

Beenie- Sorry your ex is being a pain in the proverbial. Maybe he'll cough up at a later date or is that wishful thinking!?

I wasn't sure about sleeping bags. I really like the idea of them but I've read conflicting reports of what age they're safe to use them from:confused:

    Possible TMI coming up.......

Has anybody else found that they're digestive system has taken a hit during pregnancy? I've always had a very strong stomach and been able to eat everything going without repurcussions in the bowel department. every night this week I've woken in the early hours with diarrhea and cramps lasting a good 20-30 mins. Is this normal? The only change I have made to my diet is that I'm now taking pregnacare with omega 3. Any suggestions?

Can't think of anything else to add to Weezl's list as she's always so thorough :) Only thing to add is that in Tesco at the moment, or at least in the one local to me, some of the summer sleeping bags are reduced to £1.50 from £6 - might not be the worlds best quality but fairly throwaway at that price.

Fidget, think it must just be the way of men! On fat days I often ask OH if I'm as fat as this girl or that girl that we see in the street, his answer is often 'you're just not the same shape, I can't compare' which I obviously take to mean 'you're way fatter but I don't want to say it', think we're our own worst enemy by asking sometimes!

Muso I'm afraid I did indeed experience that symptom, never found a solution to it - maybe try eating more bran, bran flakes etc? It did pass & I've not had it for a while though if that reassures you a bit :) x

I'm not buying anything until the new year but I'm going to get a sleeping bag thingy this time. They weren't really around so much with my girls but look really good.

I had to laugh though when I read the warning on one saying not suitable for newborns, for babies 10lb and up and thought 'oh right, suitable for newborns then!' :D

SJ I'll join you :) Is it the Mums, Bump & Tums thing? I'm sure I've got an a4 sheet about it in my paperwork somewhere! I'll PM you anyway, don't want to clog up the thread :D Oooh brill news about being able to stop working too, no need to stay motivated just go in & slack off in the knowledge you don't need to go back :rotfl:

Sat waiting for OH to call at the moment, his phone's been switched off all day and I'm starting to worry a bit though quite sure he's just busy and I'm being overly paranoid.

Don't encourage me!! I'm bad enough as it is and I don't fancy getting fired before I have chance to leave!!! :rotfl:

Bet you'll be glad OH is back today!

I've been weirdly unhormonal actually, I was thinking I'd be crying all the time etc as I cry quite easily normally, but I've not been any different really and it feels a bit strange!

Grrr so i'm not getting any money off the ex for the pram.:mad::mad:

Aww hope you manage to sort things out to get your pram and carpets. Not much consolation but at least you're rid of him. He sounds like a right merchant banker.

Just had an argument over a pc game with OH, he kept asking what i had done with the sim's and i kept saying i haven't seen it etc, eventually it escalated to you must have moved it you were playing it erm no i hate the sims. To which he replied i bought it for you because you said you loved it. At that the penny dropped he wasn't after the sim's it was Lemmings:rotfl: off he went tail between his legs, don't mess with me sonny i can still out wit you with PG brain lol

Sis had emergency opp for a trachia tube today, but turned out to be for the best. Her stats have got better and she is barely needing the breathing machines so they said they may try reducing meds from tomorrow. So once again thank you for the magic vibes.

Returning vibes to those that need them.

That happens with me and DH all the time! We'll be arguing about somehting then he realises he either a) forgot or b) has been thinking about the wrong thing! I just laugh at him!!

Really pleased your sister's op went well. Looks like things are at least moving in the right direction for her. More get well and get help vibes on their way to you and your family.

Nikkit - I would get whatever, don't believe in old wives' tales as that's all they are. We have tons of stuff in our house already and we will have our pram on a few weeks time when MIL brings it down from bonny Scotland with her.

nancmat and jenny? (pg brain can't remember who, sorry :o) hope you enjoy your last day in work!!

I am tired today, had friends over last night and although they left about 10pm I'm still knackered today!

    Morning everyone :)

I haven't been on for the past two days as i've discovered "Hero's" and i love it! :D

19+5 now, still haven't felt any kicks. Hopefully when (if) the midwife calls today, i'll mention it to her :) Scan is 3 days! Woohoo!

Well last night would of been an excellent nights sleep, i didn't wake up for toilet at all. But i kept waking up for no reason and not being able to get back to sleep! And now im so very tired :(

Good luck for today MERFE and Ali :)

    Morning everyone,

How is everyone today? Hope you all have better Fridays than you did Thursdays!

32B hope things continue to improve for your sister and am sending even more postive recovery vibes for her.

Gymfiend - I bet you were really worried. Although if I get like that over OH I end up shouting at him when he finally appears :o. If drink is involved though (on his part) I've been known to move out temporarily when I'm particularly hormonal.

Ew, just chomped my way through nearly a whole pinapple and I feel proper sticky and icky now. It might as well have been candy floss it was that sweet. Not necessarily trying to bring things on but it was a whoops item and needed eating yesterday really and my thought it might be a waste of it's possible benefits if I ate it sporadically. Having a RL tea now.

I'm starting to stress about the *cough* effects of the iron tablets and the birth. Someone posted a birth story and said that during, it was found that her bowels had become impacted and doctor had to intervene  - it's scared (obviously not literally) the shoight out of me! Ooh just noticed you've posted about suffering the opposite musogirl. I had this happen a few times earlier on but it was only the odd episode and eventually calmed down. It's the iron tablets that's causing the problem with me. I would honestly stop taking them but my mum had to have 2 transfusions each for me and my bro. I just wonder how if nothing is coming out how a baby is going to manage to come out (sorry if you are having breakfast)!!

Got the Harvest Festival this afternoon or "harvest vegetable" as my DD calls it. I hope she sings and doesn't go all shy on us as will be hobbling down on my crutches!

Had a dream last night that I was a single-dad and looked remarkably like David Tennant, I was going on holiday to Australia and I kept losing my child on the way. Maybe it was the dried figs I had for supper.
