Nikkit - i would go with your pre preg size. I'm usually a 10-12 mostly a 12 so i've bought 12's. I tried a 14 as thats what i am now and they were massive. But it will also depend on the style you choose too it's a bit of trial and error tbh. I tried loads of bottom halfs on before i found ones that i felt comfortable in and weren't gonna fall down. Jenny so sorry to hear your news. As Laura says the ladies on the TTC thread are really lovely and helpful and a lot of them have been through the same thing.
I do hope it gets easier for you ((((hugs)))) Look after yourself xx0 -

My husband and I went for our 12 week scan last week, only to find that we lost the baby at around 7 weeks, this is the hardest thing I have ever gone through, does it get any easier? xMorning everyone
Just poping back to say good luck to merfe and portsmouthali. Hope everything goes well.
Jennyfleur77 so sorry to hear your news. I had a m/c last week, its a really hard thing to through but you do get better, i'm starting to feel a bit better, just gets easier over time. I joined the trying for a baby thread, and they are realy nice as they have been through the same thing as well.
Well hope everyone is ok and your bumps are ok (still a silent reader!)
hugs for both of you(make that 4 for OH's)
Morning all,
Seen some of the baby sleeping bags the other week but not really considering them unless given as a gift. I still have the old fashioned nightdresses you put on the LO's that mum used on us so i have no reason for the bags plus i think the dresses are soooooo cute.
TMI(possibly)
My bowels have changed too, for me it was for the better i was suffering from what i think was IBS but was never diagnosed or given more than 3 minutes of the docs time for it just always see how it go's and come back. but i have noticed it is better occasional dia woo woo but that may be because of chocolate etc that i never ate pre pregnancy.
Beenie sorry about the ex but i have witnessed men become complete idiots when separated from kids mothers. They don't have the mentality(OK not all men but i'm PG and allowed to rant lol) to process that we are facing it everyday and waiting till the moon turns green is not an option. They think that they can stipulate what gets bought with their money and when. Friends ex demanded receipts for all purchases and said he would refund her(no he wasn't an accountant) when she conceded and done that he sent her 20 odd pound (from over 100 in a month)with a note saying he was not paying for hair cuts and second pairs of shoes only necessities. Don't worry i got her onto the CSA.
Nice day here so i think i will walk over to mums today, we take her car to visiting.
Hugs and vibes to all.
Dam PG brain... Good luck with the scans today for the 2 that are going.[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

sorry, just nosing in from the parent club!!
lactulose is a milk laxative safe to use both while pregnant and breastfeeding
or you could try spatone liquid iron sachets instead as they (allegedly) dont bung you up as much as iron tablets. but the MSE thing to do is get a script for lactulose
*boogers off to parenting again*
Thanks emlou, yeah I was previously under the impression that lactulose was ok in preg but the chemist I went to would not recommend it as there over time it could not be proved to have no negative effects on baby. I really do think some of them will not say yay or nay to anything in case you try to sue. I spoke to my friend who is a MW and she said she knew of pg ladies who took it and providing I didn't go mad with it should be ok.
I was on 2 sachets of spatone a day for a while when I was diagosed with anemia  so came to the conclusion was not enough to help me and it's pretty pricey to be on long term. I so wish it had worked though would be so much more comfortable. Maybe if I just had one iron tablet and took spatone instead of the other it would help, hmm might give that a go as still have nearly a full box left.0 -
Good luck MERFE and Portsmouthali. My thoughts are with you both today and sending you lots of sticky vibes.Evening ladies,
Ooh lots of bargain maternity bits in the M&P sale if anyone is looking for any bits - just having a nose on there but not sure whether to buy as I seem ok without maternity clothes still at almost 20 weeks, wonder if I could get to the end without any?!
xx
I would say that my bump is now (37 weeks) about four times bigger than it was at 20 weeks. Even some of my Mat clothes now don't fit my bump! I would be amazed if you don't need maternity stuff at all, as you'll probably start to find 'normal' clothes uncomfortable in your last trimester.musogirl295 wrote: »Morning all!
32B - Hoping things are on the up for your sister
Beenie- Sorry your ex is being a pain in the proverbial. Maybe he'll cough up at a later date or is that wishful thinking!?
I wasn't sure about sleeping bags. I really like the idea of them but I've read conflicting reports of what age they're safe to use them from
Possible TMI coming up.......
Has anybody else found that they're digestive system has taken a hit during pregnancy? I've always had a very strong stomach and been able to eat everything going without repurcussions in the bowel department. every night this week I've woken in the early hours with diarrhea and cramps lasting a good 20-30 mins. Is this normal? The only change I have made to my diet is that I'm now taking pregnacare with omega 3. Any suggestions?
Muso x
I felt like this early on. No idea what caused it for me. You could maybe try changing to a different pregnancy vitamin in case that is causing it.
Woop woop last day at work yeyyyyy, had blub in car on the way and picked some yummy cakes for everyone...
Any day now bump due.. and although I wasnt bothered about waiting I would like my back to stop killing and fingers and feet to get back to normal size.. x
Enjoy your last day (and you cakes)!
On the sleeping bag debate, I have a few in different weights as my sister has given me the hand me downs from my nephew. I like the idea of them, but I also have a few blankets which I might use to start off with, depending on how heavy baby is when born.
Beenie- hugs over the pushchair and your useless ex. Don't really know what to suggest, excpet have you tried Freecycle to see if you can get anything on there?
Jennyfleur77- hugs to you too. A miscarriage is such a hard thing to cope with. Can you talk to your OH about it? This definitely helped me as we were both feeling the same. As EA says, there are a few of us on here who have gone on to be pregnant soon after a miscarriage so fingers crossed for you.
Well I have woken up with the worst back ache ever, which I am taking as a good sign at this stage. I'm planning to spend the day on my gym ball to try and ease it.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
his eyebrows are huge! aren't they! big hero's fan here. Only just caught up with the last series though and there is already 5 episodes of the next one. This is my signature!0

Jennyfleur, take care of yourself, so sorry xx
LauraLou - very kind of you to pop back to wish us luck, hope you're OK.
Aless - Hope your day improves, when I got to the train station yesterday there were loads of people on the platform and I knew that meant delays! A train had broken down just outside the station. I still managed to get to work on time (just!) but OH was 1/2 an hour late for college in London. Blimmin' trains!
Got the docs in about an hour, trying to stay positive. My boss was very kind when I phoned earlier, bless her. Just watching the chavs on Jeremy Kyle for a bit of light reliefFeel really sorry for DH, he's got to chair a meeting at work this morning and hasn't prepared at all as I was in such a state last night. He was lovely though, really comforting. He's not a touchy-feely affectionate person at all but he really showed he loved me last night.
I got a Grobag for my DS when he was about 6 months old (they'd only just come out then) and I loved it! My boy really thrashes around at night and he was always kicking the covers right off and waking up because he was cold so it really helped. I liked the fact that you could get winter and summer ones. I used them right up until he went into a bed (when he was about 18 months) and I'd definitely use them again
Will pop back later to let you know how it went, thanks for all your support - it's really helped.
PS. Thinking of you Merfe xxxx0
