Morning everyone
Just poping back to say good luck to merfe and portsmouthali. Hope everything goes well.
Jennyfleur77 so sorry to hear your news. I had a m/c last week, its a really hard thing to through but you do get better, i'm starting to feel a bit better, just gets easier over time. I joined the trying for a baby thread, and they are realy nice as they have been through the same thing as well.
Well hope everyone is ok and your bumps are ok (still a silent reader!)0 -
SJ - Yes it's lactulose, I have some even though the chemist wouldn't say whether was ok for me to take. I was prescribed it as a matter of course though when I was having DD but I think because of litigation docs and chemists have become very cautious about saying something is ok to take in pregnancy.
I took it for a couple of days here and there if I was bad but it seemed to cause temporary diawotsit and then back to same old prob all in the same day. I didn't have one gripe when I was having DD with digestive system except for the usual heartburn. Seems this pregnancy is making up for the easy time I had then!
Oh dear, I always said I would never resort to talking bowels on here and now look at me!0 -
EA - the train doesn't have 1st class! It's just a little commuter service. But thanks!
SJ - the prescription is for Lactulose (I think) and is normally given by MWs after births as a matter of routine.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!

Jennyfleur so sorry to hear your news, xx
Thanks girls, made me feel a bit less mad for being worried, think it's a combo of low weight gain, no bump & no movement yet that's making me worry, plus the scan next week, I was really worried last time beforehand I guess it's the same. Tempted to call the docs & ask if they'd listen to HB or not if I made an appointment to see if it's worth bothering them...I wasn't slim before, average 12, so figured I would put weight on as generally I find it so hard to maintain my weight...gah
Hope your day gets better Aless
Good luck today Merfe & Portsmouthali, xx
Popping out now, will be back later for a catch upLots of vibes of all varieties for those in need, xxx

I've got a little pair of white tu booties, 100ml bottle of comfort pure, 75ml bottle of imperial leather foamburst shower gel, 50ml bottle of carex hand gel, a little swimmer nappy, a newborn size 2 nappy, a pack of 72 huggies pure wipes and a little pack of tissues as well as the changing mat.
Not worth £9.99 IMO but pretty darn good for a freebie with a pack of nappies!
Just found my voucher for this, sounds like a good freebies. Did you get this from a large sainsbury's? I've only got a little one near me and not sure if they'll stock these. I may have to convince my mum to go to the large one on the other side of town. Good luck with your scan today.£387.39/£196.46

Hi Laura glad to hear that you have been feeling a little brighter. Masses of good luck for the future. Will join you in wishing Merfe and Portsmouthali the best news today that everything is ok and the scans go as hoped. x0 -
sorry, just nosing in from the parent club!!
lactulose is a milk laxative safe to use both while pregnant and breastfeeding
or you could try spatone liquid iron sachets instead as they (allegedly) dont bung you up as much as iron tablets. but the MSE thing to do is get a script for lactulose
