I assumed the nappy bags were just for use when you were out and about and don't have a bin handy?

I got some really cheap nappy sacks from Morrisons a while ago. I can't remember how much they were, but I think it was quite a bit less than the Sainsburys one (obviously not worth making a massive detour for, but worth a look if anyone's in Morrisons).
Just done a nappy inventory count and so far I have:
Size 1- 270
Size 2- 277
Size 3- 222
Size 4- 200
None were bought at full price, and I'm hoping I can exchange the sizes if i find baby grows too quickly to get through them all!
I also have 37 packs of wipes:eek: which I will probably not get through for a fair few years! Not quite sure how I accumulated so many of them. Hopefully my friends will all start having babies soon so I can give a few away!
Also this came in the post today and I absolutely love it! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140349424842&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT. I'm trying to calm my eBay habit a bit but this was definitely a complete bargain. I think it would have cost about £20 new!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Ooh Gisi that's mega cute
Will have a nosy in Tesco & Morrisons too for nappy bags, guess they're a good enough price at Sainsburys to pick up one pack.
Another Q for those who know more than I do! Is it worth getting a swaddling wrap? Or just use a normal blanket? Trying to put together a list of small things which people can pick as presents (his family have asked, I'm not really rude, honest!) so we don't end up with loads of things we don't want/need.Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
GISI that is so cute!! And you have a lot of nappies!! I thought I had a lot with about 200 in total!
Don't know about swaddling wraps I'm afraid but will be interested in any replies to that.

I am definitely getting a swaddling wrap this time - they didn't have them when DS was born, but we found swaddling him really helped in the first few weeks. We just used blankets then (obviously!) but reckon those wraps look much easier.0

Ooh gymfiend, I would like a swadling wrap but think I'm going to give it a go with a blanket first. It would make a lovely gift though, so if anyone asks I might suggest it!
SJ- I do only have three weeks left though. I probably had about the same as you at your stage and have been buying a pack or so a week since then! It's also a really good thing to add to an online shop to get it up to £50 or whatever to use a money off code :money::DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Are any of the ladies due soon having bad back pain or sharp twinges in shoulder blades... 2 days left at work woop woop..... xxxx
Need to double check my bag tonight make sure I have everything.. x
No twinges here but the GP today said I was 3/5ths engaged and Noogle is in the best position for labour :j Will be wanting labour vibes on Friday.
Just been to a really annoying antenatal class, the regular midwife was away - again - we had been told we would have a full 2 hours on breastfeeding but the replacement didn't seem to know anything and we were only there an hour. She actually told us not to feed babies at night! We all left saying what a waste of time it was and it was our last class as well so a very annoying.
On the missing parents thing I lost my dad 9 years ago and really wish he could be here to teach my LO all the things he taught me and my sisters but at least I know that some of his genes will be in our babies - it's not much of a comfort but it's something. My younger sis gave her son my dad's name as his middle name.
Labour vibes for mad and cheapskate!Mum to DD born Oct 2009

Yeah I guess so GISI!! And I agree with stocking up to spread the cost a bit. You'll have to let us know how many of each you actually get through, or if you need more or less of any size.
So there's a girl at work who is due in November, our bumps were compared today by an independant adjudicator (my friend!) and she reckons we are the same size  Now i'm hoping it's just cos the other girl is small and not becasue I'm quickly reaching whale-like proportions!!0 -

As I've said beofre this is my first baby so I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure babies need to feed at night!
Sorry it was such a waste of time Jenny, that must be really disappointing.0 -
Though you might like to see how huge I've gotten!
