might also be worth taking some salt into hospital, if you chuck nighties and pants which have blood on them into COLD water with salt in then they won't stain :)

JHA I see you lurking! Are you feeling better now? Look after yourself too as well as mum dad hubby and half-pint :)

I'm here on and off this morning, lurking abit really as I'm feeling down too, seem to be really emotional today, think it's just hit me that I'm due in 2 weeks (38weeks today! :j) same date my mum died last year, and the closer it gets, the more I'm thinking about her and wishing she was gonna be here to see her new grandson. Just been sat with tears running down my face searching the net for a nice poem to put in memorial notices in local paper. I didn't realise I missed her so much

I haven't had any progress yet since my show on Monday..think I'll be one of the few who end up waiting 1-2 weeks after having a show till labour starts, not the 1-4 days which by lots and lots of reading seems to me is the average. The comments at the school gates have already started..'u still here then' and 'haven't you had that baby yet??!' !!!!!! i'm not due for another 2 weeks, give me chance!!! Had abit of luvin with the OH last night and as soon as he went near my nipples I started with a 5 min long contraction! Ouch! Was hoping that had set me off but nope, didn't get anymore after that one. Think I'm gonna have a sandwich then sterillise my breast pump and have a go with it, it is safe to after 37 weeks isn't it
love my little man he is amazing :j

Bubs definitely liked the apple he is jumping about had to move the lappy as it was rocking lol

Need to do my hair then heading to mums....So hard still haven't told the kids just don't know what to say. they know something is going on and have guessed about the hospital but obviously not the circumstances that put her their.

Hugs helen, bubs will come when ready and i believe your mum will be watching when you have bubs(yep i'm freaky and believe in that lol)

*hugs* Helen...my mum died in August so I understand exactly how you're feeling and that I will be in the same place when I get closer to due date. And don't get too depressed about things not kicking off yet - that can change at any moment!!! Huge labour vibes for you & Fidget...

EA- Nozza- can't help with hositals as mine only does a tour of the unit, but my GP does a course, would it be worth checking with yours?

    Thanks Gemma.
Yep, our hospital used to do tours of the maternity unit too but cancelled all of those at the same time as all the antenatal classes. This again was allegedly a nationwide thing but it seems not to be the case.
GP does nothing so it looks like nothing at all in this area.

Am trying to get a place on some private sessions in Chippenham so fingers crossed.
