Oh Harley I'm so pleased for you - you sound so happy!! It's lovely. Can't wait to see some pics but no rush - sure you have plenty of other things to be doing just now rather than uploading pics!!

Weezl thanks for that, I'll check out the bit on the site. I've spent quite a lot of time on homebirth.org when I was deciding if I wanted HB. The birth stories on there are great. I was thinking of buying a pool so I can use it again next time if I like it. Would work out more MSE in the long run if I did that.

Decided to follow the lead of a few ladies on here today and set a shopping budget for the month! We spend loads on shopping and I think it'd be good for us to get into good habits now so we are better prepared when I go on ML and my wage goes down. (I also secretly want to see how much I can get our spending down in total to look at the possibilty of only going back to work for 3 months then leaving but shhhhhhh don't tell anyone lol!!)

Happy Sunday everyone & massive congrats to harley at last! :j:jMy eldest son was born on 29 Sept, too, at almost the same time, but many years ago, so it's a good date! :D
Labour vibes to squishy & csh as well, hope you both have your babes asap.
jha - can I join in secret santa please? What info do you want & when, & am I eligible?
Toddler been an absolute pain in the rear this week - whining, bad-tempered, destructive.... think he realises, at last, that things are different! He managed to spill teenage DS's cereal everywhere this morning, took ages to clean carpet! Then just when I'm in the middle of (almost) shouting at him, he cuddles me & says 'mummy better now?' & I'm ready for crying! :rotfl:
    A xo

ooo, nikkit good luck on your scan tomorrow! Are you finding out the flavour? :)

So glad to hear things went fairly well, Harley!! DH thought the name sounded Polish - is it? Beautiful though, can't wait for pictures! :D Sending you some healing vibes for your tear and can't wait to hear the full birth story. Glad your parents are being there for you and are absolutely totally besotted with your new daughter.

Hi to Fitzio & Glam - thanks for popping back in to check on us! :D

Nothing much going on here. Went to a wedding reception last night where MIL was a bit tipsy and therefore getting all teary about the baby. I'm not sure if this is just me or a normal pregnancy thing, but I feel really strongly about not wanting to 'share' the baby with anyone straight away...like I want to have a chance for it to be just me, DH and the baby to feel like a little family for a little while (few days maybe) before anyone else gets to see him/her. DH agrees but I'm wondering if this possessiveness is our personalities or something more hormonal?? It's nothing against ILs personally b/c I would feel the same if my family were close by (rather than 4000 miles away :p). Who knows, I might even feel differently when the baby actually comes, y'know?

And Beenie won't yell at me because I now AM properly in the 3rd trimester according to ALL the calendars instead of just SOME of them, LOL :p...scary!!!! I remember when I came on here at like 5wks!!

Well disaster doing the windows, I managed to get the blind down without damaging the fixings. Cleaned round the windows etc then tried to clean the glass and i just can't get it right:mad:
3 attempts and it's still all streaky:rolleyes: will need to leave the blind down for OH to do it.:D

Trying to do a shopping list but i keep having notions for things that OH won't eat or that i cant have:( Trying to stick with the basics he will eat that i want. Kids will eat anything i give them, even fish and i hate hate hate fish.
