I need to get new curtains too as the ones in the house are relly thin and white, don't keep the light out and only 1 step up from net curtains really! I'm not going to get black out curtains or blinds though as I worry that then when we go away and there aren't any blackouts that baby won't get to sleep as well.

SJ - I initially cought the blackout curtains as was having issues sleeping this summer, our bedroom window gets the sun first thing in the morning. Am contemplating getting this for travelling and at grandmas house http://www.amazon.co.uk/Express-Yourself-Mums-EFA004-Anywhere/dp/B002B55BNI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=baby&qid=1254658210&sr=8-1 It has good reviews.

    Afternoon,

I'm back from the carboot & exhausted! Managed to make over £70 from total tat, mostly left over from last wks so a total of nearly £200 for 2 Sunday mornings & all our junk :D Wahoo! Also got about £50 in bits & bats ending on eBay today, hopefully they'll go up a bit more.

Harley - I love your little girls name, it's gorgeous. I once knew a Kezia - she was a really pretty, lovely little girl too.

SJ your wedding pics are lovely, you look so happy together :D & you look flipping tiny & not pregnant at all - was it a magic dress?!

Aless totally feel the same about enjoying baby alone for a bit - especially as OH only gets 2 weeks off work, I want us to spend it together to get used to each other. However...this will not happen! My mum is going away for 3 wks a couple of weeks after due date, so she'll want her grandma cuddles in, though I don't mind really as we're really close, its more the crowding from OH's family I don't want :(

Somnium your cot is gorgeous, I absolutely love it and might just want one now!! Are they discontinued?

Why's it so cold today? I can barely feel my fingers :( & I'm starving, going out for a carvery for OH's sisters birthday so I'm meant to wait another 2 hours, at least, to eat  don't they know that it's cruel to make a pregnant lady wait so long?!
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j

Thanks for that - that looks quite good actually! I'll certainly be bookmarking that in case we decide to go for blackouts after all!

It most certainly was a magic dress!! It kind of skimmed my bump and so you couldn't really see it. Great that it was lace up at the back though -I'd never have done it up if it'd been buttons or a zip! I have grown so much now though!

I'm hungry too. Might go find some lunch. Having a chinese for tea though - naughty but oh so nice!! :D

Goof effort with the car boot and ebay. I have a couple of things that I want to put on ebay but not enough for a car boot. Wish I did though, I coudl do with some extra cash.

Somnium, OH is now also in love with your cot, and we've found a pic of the drawers that go with it, any tips on how I might find one?! :D

Thanks Glam! Yeah I got it cut about 2 weeks before the wedding so it had time to soften up a little. Sometimes it looks a bit harsh when it's just been cut.

Loving your avvy pic!! Jack is so cute!
