Thanks girls.
Nikkit, that dress did a really good job of hiding my bump - plus I think Tic Tac knew I needed to fit in it, I've grown so so much in the 3 weeks since the wedding!! I'm really getting quite big now!!0 -
Oh and yeah. lots of sun on the honeymoon!! Didn't see a cloud the whole time we were there! It was nice too cos I was worried the heat might be too much for me but seeing as all I was doing was lying around it wasn't too bad! ha ha!0

SJ - Thanks for sharing the photo's looks like a truely wonderful day. I love the dress you have, very elegant and not at all fussy. Also loved the whole kilt and piper thing, so nice. I have a soft spot for all things scottish hehe.
Nikkit - If you want to get the older colour then I would buy the PC soonish, you could always put it on a nursery plan then its payed for (or you can pay in instalments) and reserved but delivered nearer your due date. Otherwise if you want one of the newer colours I'd say there is no rush.
Really need to join in with the grocery challenge and make an attempt to get our spend down, like the rest of you ladies will have to do it while on mat leave so may as well get used to it, that and the fact the week before payday seems to always be tight, like this week! And again like you other ladies the OH really doesnt help, he is a) a fussy eater and b) has a sweet tooth!
Aless - totally feel the same about keeping bubs to ourselves when he/she arrives home. I know am gonna hate handing LO over for cuddles I feel restless just thinking about it. I think it doesnt help that mil comes across as so desperate for a grandchild. I know we aren't gonna be able to avoid hospital visitors tho, and that combined with being in hospital I know am gonna feel all pinned down. Hope its an easy Birth and we can make a quick escape, can't do with being fussed over.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

It was just an amazing day! My face was aching from smiling so much!!
I agree too about wanting to keep baby for just is at first! I have already started dropping hints that I don't want visitors for a while after the birth!0 -
Morning all
Im so tired, spent some of the morning scraping the remainder of the wallpaper off the last wall so OH could paint it
Congrats to Harley!! I love her name to
Im 18 weeks today, according to my ipod, this week the baby learns to yawn
Right im doing some research on black out blinds. But im a bit confused.
On the numbers for measurements (***X***) what comes first, the length or the width? lol.
If its width first then i got 120X170.
And does anyone know where i can get some good, but not very expensive ones?
Thank youuu

Hi EA, you could try Dunelm (spelling?) for some backing lining then you can just have normal curtains on top.

EA - Did you specifically want blinds? I have curtains from littlewoods that were a good price and you can use them on there own as they come in colours. http://www.littlewoods.com/rf/p.do/blackout-curtains?Ntx=mode+matchallpartial&SNtt=blackout+curtains&groupId=598242293&Nu=this_product&SNtk=generic_search&Np=1&SN=103+85&Ntt=598242293&D=598242293&Ntk=group_search&Dx=mode%2bmatchall&thisprod=598242293&N=103+85&Nty=1&Mis_item_id=15&Mis_item_loc_id=1&product=598242293
Forgot to say yesterday, the cot went up easily and all of it is there and in perfect condition. OH is dead chuffed with it as he had never seen it, is so lovely and was a bargain at £48 brand new. It fits our lil corner well too, and we didnt realise but it actually has a drop side so thats a bonus. Not sure if anyone is intrested but this is what we got..http://www.mothercare.ie/ContentBuilder/DisplayPage.aspx?DataId=DA000057&view=detail&ProductID=PR000003&UniqueID=98. It was lurking in the back of our stockroom and we found it after having a shift about. So thats my top tip of the day, if you want a bargain maybe ask your local store if they have any discontinued items not on display. I know we also found a cot bed too that was reduced downfrom something like £300 to £120!Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2
