I am back from my GTT. It's wasn't as bad as i remembered lucozade to be but i must admit that by my 4th glass i was getting fed up with it. It was quite funny as you had to drink 4 glasses in 5 mins and we were all burping and hiccuping like mad, but one poor girl was almost crying as she thought she was going to be sick. We were in a tiny side room off the main ward not even the day clinic as that was next door with beds in. 2 woman had a procedure i don't know what they could have been having while pg but they had to remove all their clothes and we could see all the instruments which didn't look to nice. The midwife pulled a cutain around them but then opened them after to do the heart beat of the baby and we could all see them so it wasn't very private and the people closest would have heard every word but i was furthest away and had a stereo next to me so i could hear not sure i would have wanted to.
I feel very tired now but it won't be long before i have to pick up my son so i won't have a nap. This is my signature!0 -
Kindof : I felt movement from ten weeks although when Nicki said the same there was a big arguement on the thread effectively saying you can't feel it that early (but she and i both did!)
OH could feel on the outside from 16 weeks and by 18weeks movement was visible through tum so everyone is different :-)0 -

So from tomrorow (Ohs payday, mine is wed) we are starting a spending diary each to see where our money is going
Am I crazy to think when I was laying in bed last night I felt babybean move? I was 99% sure I felt babybean move, and no I didnt have wind lol
Aless and 3tb thats so funny lol
We are only going to buy a bottle of water until we get some sports bottles, trying to stop spending money. All we have is a co-op close to work and there food is horrible and greasy and you have to spend £3 minimum to pay on cardand i dont like carrying cash.
Well i thought i felt something like my stomach twitching the other day, just by where baby is i think, but i passed it off as twitching, SIL thinks it was baby moving though0 -
am I right in assuming that if MWs haven't mentioned having a GTT so far (at 27 wks), then I've gotten off without having one? Is there any chance they would refer me for one later?top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

Only if anything shows in your urine to indicate GD i think. I've never had one either, i'm not a high risk factor and they are not done as standard here.0 -
EA - just wanted to say: are you getting one of those electric foot spa things? For some reason I have a vauge memory of seeing somewhere that you shouldn't use those during pregnancy.....could just be my bad memory though0

Can I ask a quick question of those ladies on here who are 7 months +?
I'm supposed to be booking tickets to go and see Whistle Down The Wind next March with my Mum. We love it and have been waiting for it to come back to Manchester for aaaaages. Only thing is all being well I will be approx 7.5 months pregnant by then.
Could you have comfortable sat in a theatre for a few hours at that stage of your pregnancy? I have no idea what to expectMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0
