Me and SIL were talking about it and she said she was 18+3 and got a massive kick in the stomach while she was at work
I hope im not on a call when it happens, i'll prob make some weird noise down the phone lol. x0 -
Hey again, Evans - i felt bump move at 18 weeks..
Has anyone got a moby or closer baby wrap.. was going to get a lascal one, but like the comfy look of these and they arent to one side either hopefully might assist with my breastfeeding if I can..Received £2,626.00 in PPI -2013:j
Received £1400 charges - 2006:j0 -
About 19 weeks the movement was distinguishable as baby rather than possible wind etc. Small kicks.0

The instructions say to sit, but surely that resticts access to the region in question and then how exactly can you get both thumbs working in there whilst trying to push them backwards with a bump in the way (or even without)? I have a suspision that being a contortionist may help here
I think I am a bit late anyway at 36 weeks tomorrow- have tried a few times when in the shower, but again the logistics or actually getting access properly are a total mystery to me
Maybe you could go from behind??? :rotfl:
Actually that would need more bending of the wrist, hmmm.. i feel this was designed for people with tiny tiny bumps lol x0 -
I didn't feel movement until after 20 weeks...would have to look up exact timing, but it was later than most.
lizzie - one of the website recommend that if you want to "DIY" to sit on your knees and reach around the back way. Don't worry about you already being 36 weeks - better late than never!
nanc - there are some ladies on the Parent Thread that are wrap experts. Maybe try asking there? My sis gave us a sling, but I also want a moby or similar style wrap to last 'til baby is older. Also, this website is really useful: http://www.slingmeet.co.uk/top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!

Me and OH are going to do that (well kinda) OH has bacon sarnie at work everyday for £1.60 and then has soup he takes in from home, I bring my own things in (but sometimes get crisps and chocolate out of machine)
So from tomrorow (Ohs payday, mine is wed) we are starting a spending diary each to see where our money is going
Am I crazy to think when I was laying in bed last night I felt babybean move? I was 99% sure I felt babybean move, and no I didnt have wind lol

Hi Evansangel
I 1st felt movement at about 17-18 weeks i think, it started off like a fizzy tablet in a glass, now I am getting kicked quite a few times a day it even put me off my Cafe fry up yesterday morning, We had been up quite early so we did not eat for ages and then we made it to the cafe just got my fry up and bumper started kicking right near my bladder as well and it seemed to also be after every bite
Aless on the sling front not sure would love to but have a bad back so not sure if a sling would be best for me, will have a look.Darling son born 10/12/09 hopefully the 1st of many :j0
