    Morning ladies,

I had a dream last night that I logged on here and Harley announced she had had her baby!!!! Yes, it was typed in big blue letters!! Fingers crossed you get your girl soon! LVs to you, Csh, Squishy and Europa. If you don't hurry up, we wil be directing them at the Oct folk soon.

I miss posting here. Don't feel I have anything to contribute on the Parent Thread and it moves far too fast. Maybe once DH is back at work I will be able to check it more, but currently feel guilty and neglectful if I spend too much time on here.

    xx

Nooooo! Lots of people keep thinking it's a boy. Dad and bruv keep calling her him and someone at work put the message 'lets hope its a boy' in my leaving card. And every so often I get a panic attack that she is a little lad. Can't allow it, she's got a pink room, pink clothes, pink everything. And I so want a little girl to spoil.:o

Don't you go giving my vibes away just yet missy!!!! I'm desperate for this baby to come out, I've got tummy ache, I'm worn out, she keeps kicking me and I can't get comfy. Me, Squishy and Csh first please. Though not tomorrow for Csh obviously.

Don't stop posting here just yet hun, we'd miss you and love hearing about Holly (and of course seeing her). We can hopefully all join the parent thread together once we have started to settle into some sort of routine. I'll keep you company hun.

Hmmm, not sure I would want the fact broadcasted! I'd lie and say millions of stitches, or everyone would think you had a bucket chuff!! (Sorry for being crude so early!)

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: totally agree, think i'd have a heart attack if I had to give birth to a 12 lber  **prays for a nice 7lber**

My cat's driving me mental, she's gone into hiding under the sink again but not into the floorboards, keep having to pull out the kickboards and drag her out. Think she's a bit spooked. Tried putting a towel in the gap she's getting down but she always pulls it out, going to go and buy some bricks in a mo so she can't get in!

No apologies to the neighbouring dog - it's a pain in the bum and growls and barks at all hours (outdoor dog) so it deserved my mean moment :o One of the many reasons we want to move!! Re the house - we bought the one we're in 2 years ago and gutted & modernised it, though it was hard work I think I'll only be able to do it while not working full time...so when baby's young - OH thinks I'm mental but will let me do what I want in the end :rotfl: We can't afford the area we want if the house isn't a tip unfortunately

All this talk of bucket nether regions & thin skin between birthing hole and bum hole at this hour - glad I've not had breakfast yet!!!!!!

Now, must get off the computer and do some work! xxx

I don't think i could do it if i tried, it's hard enough getting my shoes on and i'm only 29 weeks

I'd have let the ex have a go though, i tore with DS and it made the few weeks after having him sooo uncomfortable. There's enough going on with boobs etc without the huge ordeal everytime you need a wee! I'm fully expecting this baby to be bigger so am expecting to rip again.

I think cos my pushing stage was so quick it didn't help, maybe if next one is slower it'll give it chance to stretch.

I've read about perineum massages in my pregnancy books, so it can't be that unusual? Had heard of it before here anyway. I know some people have used bio oil, but we don't have that sort of thing around, so just going to use whatever cooking oil is around...I think as long as it's natural it's okay? Weird b/c I was just thinking this morning that we need to start that! Haven't told hubby his new task yet - not sure what he'll think! :rotfl:

(p.s. to anyone who's done it...is it messy with the oil? would it be okay to do on the bed with a towel down or does it need something better than that? :o)

  • I told OH about it and asked if he would ever help me, and he said no its weird lol.

I was told that once the head is crowning if you pant rather than push its supposed to slow things down and ease baby out :)

NOOOOOOO I CAN'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO MORE!!

I don't recall breathing at all, but i was trying to do as i was told even though i was refusing to push :rotfl: They were trying to rush me cos they said he was getting distressed.
