Hmmm, not sure I would want the fact broadcasted! I'd lie and say millions of stitches, or everyone would think you had a bucket chuff!! (Sorry for being crude so early!)
:rotfl::rotfl:or perhaps that you had been very diligent with the perineum massage?!

Anyone know when you can begin it by the way? We started at 27 weeks with Fergus, but wondered about earlier this time...

PS Aless are they all homebirths?

I read that the rate for tears is much lower in a home birth

    Morning ladies,

I had a dream last night that I logged on here and Harley announced she had had her baby!!!! Yes, it was typed in big blue letters!! Fingers crossed you get your girl soon! LVs to you, Csh, Squishy and Europa. If you don't hurry up, we wil be directing them at the Oct folk soon.

Welcome Scotsgirl. Did not have ms, but things recommended are ginger in some form e.g. snaps, tea etc, flat lemonade, dry toast/crackers.

Good luck with your scan today Gill.

Glad you had a nice break GISI.

I miss posting here. Don't feel I have anything to contribute on the Parent Thread and it moves far too fast. Maybe once DH is back at work I will be able to check it more, but currently feel guilty and neglectful if I spend too much time on here.

    xx

Hmmm mother gave me some night nurse with paracetamol in 'for colds and flu' cos i feel sooooo ill today. They say to seek advice before taking if pregnant but i'm only having one dose. Any thoughts? I'm not too worried but wondered if anyone had heard any scare stories

Well I've only seen a few episodes of the show (it looks fairly new) and one episode the woman wound up having to go to the hospital (but I suppose that's realistic b/c not all home births work out as such), but obviously the show it about people who plan a HB.

Well, it was her 7th child, so I imagine that she's rather, errrrr, well-stretched down there! :-p

    Good morning ladies

Is there room in here for a newbie? I'm 7 weeks pregnant with my first following a miscarriage at the start of August. I'm also sick as a blooming parrot - apparently nobody taught my morning sickness how to tell the time cos it's all day sickness. I've lost half a stone since thursday. Does anyone have any experience of this and tips for coping? I already have another appt with the docs for later today.

Congrats Scotsgirl :) sorry I dont have any advice on the sickness

gymfiend - I know me and OH got a bit freaked yesterday when we realsed we are 17 weeks today and are nearlt halfway there lol hence the spare room tidy lol

Weezl - the first I had heard of P massage was from you, and I suspect Glam was the same. Wish I had bothered with it!
Csh - thanks. Will be lurking here for a while! Right, going to see if Holly will go back in her Moses basket without waking up so I can get ready. Final midwife visit today.

I suppose I should sign off and do something productive now. Have to go and dig out all DD's birthday presents that were bought and wrapped ages ago as I thought i wouldn't want to go shopping with a newborn! Oh, the irony!!
Will be requiring 'baby stay put' vibes from midnight tonight to midnight tomorrow if thats OK with everyone! I am officially a no-exit zone for tomorrow.

Have a good day everyone, hope you feel better soon Beenie x
