I'm back from hospital. Had my scan and everything is fine so I'm feeling very relieved and a bit overwhelmed!
The staff were lovely and incredibly supportive from the receptionist to the emergency doctor in the EPU. She had to pull a few strings to get me in for a scan this morning as they had no vacancies till this afternoon.
The scan was amazing - could see baby really clearly and its little heart was beating away. She played it for us aswell and said it was well within the normal rates. It wiggled while we were watching aswell and she said that it was it's new trick that it has just learnt this week
It measure 17.3 mm and 8 wks +3 which is two days ahead of what the midwife said, although my due date has gone back a day to the 7th May which I thought was a bit odd!
Feeling very very happy and relieved thoughMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
