I have the flexible saver 6, does this mean the account automatically transfers to the issue 7 and pays that interest? Or will it just continue as before?

    The latter.

yeah i have the issue 6 @ 3.25% gross, i just sent them a secure message through the online banking to check. :)
  • Just got a letter from Citibank concerning my flexible saver issue 6 - "due to the bank of England holding its interest rate at 0.5% we are reducing your interest rate by 0.25%"

cheeky sods, how do they justify that!

I guess it just matches the AA account available then but then the AA comes under HBOS. Kinda disappointing anyway.

Manufacturing down for Jan, exports down for the same period despite the £ falling by a not insignificant amount. Hope March brings some better news for GDP growth/other indicators. :/

I got that letter too - but have just received their latest Rates & Charges Information leaflet, effective 18 May 2010, still showing the Flexible Saver Account Issue 6 at 3.30 AER, 3.25 Gross, which it was when I started with them last October.

Have also just checked their website and its still showing 3.30 AER.

    Am I missing something?
