How long does sum cream keep? There's some on special offer at boots and im considering getting some for my young baby for summer, but i sure that sun cream cant keep for very long... i wonder how long sun cream is allowed to be sold for before it 'goes off' as such?

  • I read once that sun cream loses 2 factors per year - so if it is true - buy high factor sun cream and you should be ok
I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes ;)
  • Sun cream for the Summer should be ok I believe.

The problem is when it has been opened or left in the sun-that's why you should not use the same bottle of cream from one holiday to the next!

I always use mine up as body lotion if I'm not sure if it's lost the sun protection.

I get prickly heat practically all year round

Holland & Barrett sell an Aloe Vera gel that you apply to the skin. It's lovely and cool and soothing, especially if you keep it in the fridge.
Here I go again on my own....

Are you sure you're not burning? Seriously, the only advice I can offer is to cultivate the 'pale and interesting' look, which has been my favoured option! means your skin stays looking younger for longer, as well!

I suffer with this and now only use sensitive suntan lotion. This year I used Boots sensitive soltan lotion and had no prickly heat at all.

    Hope it works for you.
