It has been discussed on here that on average they make nothing if you claim all cash back (sometimes lose & sometimes they make a little) - the profit comes when they factor in that 45-55% of cashback goes unclaimed (IIRC one figure is based on the amount & the other on the number).

So...... if i sign up for this deal the carphonewarehouse will send me a free moto l6 +100sms +250mins (doubled for 3 months) and all i have to do is send back my bills and get the money back.

So i am gettting a free phone and calltime and texts for 12 months.

Do i get to keep the phone after that?

    Thanks for any help.

Ps i no i am really annoying but could you give me a step by step guide on what to do.

You basically get what you said & can keep the phone - you pay the linerental for 12 months, send off the 4th, 8th & 12th bills & get a cheque back within around 30-90 days depending on the retailer. Some tend to try & squirm out of paying, so don't but a contract you can't afford without the cashback.

    Hey

Anyone had probs with a price match deal. on wednesday i was given the go ahead, all bank details given and told my phone would be here thursday or friday at the latest, no show today. Phoned them up and they have not even got anything for me, they say it is an IT problem with certain price-matches  Have been told that they will phone me monday to let me know what is happening but i have to say i really dont hold much hope, they reckon there has been alot of this but i tend not to believe and wondered if anyone on here had had problems?
well as i thought, they never bothered phoning me, i now feel they have done un-neccassary credit checks and also frauduantly got me to hand over my bank details, is there anything i can do, can i complain to anyone:o

If you read my post above and the quote in that post you will see it was done through e-sales, therefore no point with going into a shop, and now the nice manager that was supposed to phone me today who so kindly gave me his phone number has not answered his phone all day, i just feel they really have taken personal information off me with no intention of honouring what they said they would, surely this is not on:o

Personally I went for the 2600 - because it is a straight CPW offer, you can still go via a cashback site, so I'd say that 2600 + £25 is better than any of the other phones + the hassle of a price match.

  • I put in a price match request last week - heard nothing from CPW so I asked E2Save and Mobileshop, but neither would match the deal (Nokia 6111 on T Mobile Relax 35 - 10 months free on a 12 month contract matched against Mobile Rainbow)

So I ordered another phone on O2 from Mobileshop which is due to be delivered tomorrow - who rings tonight but CPW's Pricematch team wanting to know if I still want the deal.

I said yes so they're ringing back tomorrow to sort it all out.

So they will match mobileoutlet, mobile rainbow, mobileshop & phones2u - how about others? Could a kind boardguide or the OP add the list to the top post?

Just a tip though, you will lose the cashback (ie https://www.topcashback.co.uk or quidco), so I personally would factor that in any decision - I got a 2600 free on o2 250 free for the year with £25 back - ok, I'd have preferred a 3220 or a 6030, but are they worth £25 more?

Well you can add coolnewmobile to that list. Got my Sony Ericsson k750i 12 months cashback deal this morning. Missed out on Quidco payment, as you say, but worth it to me as I don't know how reliable coolnew.. are and I reckon CPW will still be in business in 12 months.
Also cashback with CPW more simple - bills from months 4, 8, +12.
