I finally got my price match. the original deals was with themobileoutlet.com.
CPW matched it without any problems.
the deal was a Sony Ericsson k750i on orange 200 mins xnet and 50 txt with 12 months line rental cash back on a 12 month contract.

Oh and the phone was new as well.

    I think that is a BARGAIN!!!! :T

I left a price match request for the same offer as mm66 last Friday evening, three full days ago - still no callback. I've now left a second request.

Those that have been successful, has the call come long after the event, or generally within the 24 (working) hours stated on the website?

Found a deal I wanted (Nokia 6230i, on 02, 200 mins and 100 txts (doubled for first three months) on a twelve month contract with cashback making it free and sent it to CPW. They called 48 hours later asking if I wanted to go ahead...simple!

The deal was originally with mobile rainbow and I didn't feel comfortable relying on them to honour the cashback.

    Thanks OP!
  • I've just put in for a Nokia 6111 on T Mobile Relax 35 - 10 months free on a 12 month contract for 500 mins and 200 texts. The original deal is with Mobile Rainbow - again I'd rather use CPW for cashback.

I'll let you know how it goes
Come on you Red and White Wizzaaaards!

I'm on the landline even as I type, I'm trying for a pricematch with a Motorola V3 RAZR / BLAZR (Black) from phones2udirect on the O2 200 (X-Net Anytime) + 100 Text (12 MTH) o2 Pay Monthly. Free line rental and free 'phone on a 12 month contract.

Apparently, it's too late tonight to seal the deal (really???), but someone is going to 'phone me tomorrow.

Phones2udirect price and CPW track record. It can't go wrong .... can it??!!

The call came after a second webpage request on Monday, they called back Tuesday lunchtime "do you really want to go ahead? I dont want to waste the time of the people who set these things up unless you're sure"

CPW called again 1900 hrs Tuesday with confirmation of bank details, date of birth for credit check etc.

Phone delivered by Citilink today (Thursday), and as we knew we were going to be out all day, my instruction to leave it with a neighbour was followed to the letter.

Brilliant result, many thanks to OP for bringing this feature of CPW to the surface, as the alternative was to pay through the nose for CPW's advertised rates or to accept the risks and unpleasantness of dealing with the new boys.

Why get the V3 and not the V3i?

Carphonewarephone priced matched me the V3i on 200 mins xnet and 12 months free line rental (12 month contract).

Its on orange though. The V3 is so old that evrywhere should be giving it away with 12 months free contract

Price matched from phones2udirect? Or another supplier? I can't see a V3i on the phones2udirect website with a free 12 month contract. I found the V3i with a 1/2 price for 6 months contract
