  • Send it to my house - I love it :D

Can you cube some up to use for a stew?
It's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice

My favourite is to saute some onions and mushrooms, add sour cream, a teaspoon of mustard and a slug of cheap brandy.
Slice the leftover beef into thin strips and add to sauce to heat through.
Serve with chips or rice. Really quick, easy meal.

We just had this with cous cous and fresh veg. Delicious it was :T

  • Hi

Can anyone give me some ideas for leftover roast beef.

It turned out a little tough - so no good for sandwiches etc

I do not have a mincer so can't mince it.

Any ideas would be appreciated as i don't want to just through it away.

    Thanks

    curry? stew? stir fry?
  • Would turning it into a curry or stew make it less chewy to eat.

Sorry if thats a silly question but not very good at cooking

  • how about various styles of stir frys or sweet chilli beef? have a look at your takeaway menus and see what they do with beef

You can just chop it instead of mincing it, I often do that. Works fine for Shepard's pie.
