    Thank you so much, I did a casserole type thing with onions and carrots and made dumplings from the suet left over from making mincemeat for Christmas. I've noted all the other suggestions for next time :)

    Tomorrow we are slow cooking a joint of beef all day and will have it with mashed pots and broccoli. There will be loads left so just wondering what I can do with the left overs....

    I thought cottage pie, curry, beef pasta bake but have you lovely people got any ideas what else I could do please?

    Layered with sliced potatoes and sliced onions - gravy poured over and baked in the oven till potatoes go golden brown on top :drool:.
